Cal Offense
If they're not faster than Florida, they are just as fast.
It's like they have a two Reggie Bush's on their team at WR and RB. Throw in Forsett and the rest of their WR's, I'd say they have a real shot to run the table this year IF their defense takes shape.

I think they have a shot at USC this year because the way to beat that defense is to stretch is as far as it will go, and Tedford's offenses are great at finding those holes in the zone. My concern is that they have a bunch of people who can stretch, but lack that punishing runner they had in Lynch. Forsett runs with good power for his size, but that USC interior is not only very talented, but very very strong. Having Alex Mack will help keep a stout front, but unless they can play some ball control they will be in trouble.
It'll be a competitive game, but Cal is going to have to catch a few breaks. USC is definitely the better overall team.

USC speed on Defense vs. Cal's speed in Offence in gonna make for a great match up. But USC will still prevail because USC's O is better than Cal's D.

Maybe this year will be like in '04 when Aaron Rodgers led them to victory.

Well if anyone is gonna give USC trouble in the Pac-10, it's either gonna be UCLA or Cal. Cal has the offense to play with just about anybody in the nation, it's the defense that worries me.
On another note, LSU looked liked a very balanced team against, yes, Mississippi St. Matt Flynn is looking good.

Hmm I thought Leinart lost to Cal in '04. Maybe that was the year they were really close.

Well, we don't know that right now. There's a small chance Oregon, UW, and/or WSU end up being a burden, and possibly top three in the conference.

Difference is Florida's playmakers have 20+ lbs on Jackson and Best and are just as fast.

I'am gonna wait a couple weeks until I start drinking the Cal cool aid, but they did make a young Tennesssee secondary look pedestrian. That Desean return was absolutely phenomenal.
