Players to Watch Next Year
This is almost a homer thread of UKNOWN people who should break out NEXT year but could contribute this year.
Charles Johnson - LB
He should be redshirting this year, so he'll be a Red-Soph next year, but he will be a force for them. He should find a way to get on the field
6'2" 234 has registered a 4.58 40-yard dash time as well as 36-inch vertical leap and 20 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press.
Edit - Also Kevin Bemoll, back up Olineman, has been suspended for the fall because of a team violation, according to Tedford

Donovan Warren CB Michigan - He's going to play a lot this year and will be even better next year
Toney Clemons WR Michigan and JR Hemingway WR Michigan- Guys that will team up with Mathews when Manningham and Arrington leave, both studs.
Boubacar Cissoko CB Michigan- May start right away at UM. Outstanding man to man coverage ability

Wisconsin
CB Aaron Henry- emerged as the Badger's nickle corner already as a freshman on the Badger's reigning #1 pass efficiency defense, and intercepted a fake punt pass in the first game. Florida offered late but he wouldn't reneg on his commitment. The Gators and Buckeyes screwed up here. The kid is special.
WR Nick Toon- son of Badger alum and football star wide receiver Al Toon. He brings an element already possessed by the Badger's current starting receivers. But his size and polish will be valuable next year. Thoroughly impressed the coaches in the Offense-Defense All American Bowl.
WR Daven Jones- redshirted as a result of an injury (nothing major) otherwise would possibly have made an impact. Will be of junior/rs soph age because of failure to qualify in '06 class. Has precise route running skills and blazing speed.
TE Garrett Graham- The Badgers use their tight ends frequently in Paul Chryst's system as evidence by Beckum's gaudy stats. Graham has good instincts, hands, and athleticism. If Beckum declares he could make a major impact as a junior. Had a TE in the first game.
QB Allan Evridge- As you can see from his performance in week 1, it's no shame to lose a quarterbacking job to Tyler Donovan. He started 6 games for K-State as a freshman and could probably start for a high majority of teams in college football this year. Excellent arm and mobility.
RB Johnny Clay- While he was struggling to qualify in summer school he had some difficulty maintaining fitness and of course had a late start. Should return to form after he drops down to 220 or so. Set records in high school.
The Badgers had a FANTASTIC 2007 class irregardless of rankings. Check out all the impact players from '05 in spite of that class' low ranking.
I don't expect the Badgers to be a serious national championship contender (like they are this year) without the one man pass defense (Jack Ikegwuonu), like a few others, but they'll still be very good, and the future is bright.

OG Jeremy Perry, Oregon St
Anybody here even remotely familiar with him? He'll be one of the top OG prospects in all the land sooner than later.

Lindy's had him preseason All-American. He's a little short for an OL but he's a monster run blocker

WR- Golden Tate. I think he's going to be very good in the future for ND.
RB- Armando Allen. Weis really seems to like this speedy freshman.

James Montgomery RB Cal.With Forsett gone it'll be mainly him and Best.Slocum will probably also get some carries.
Mike Calvin WR Cal.We may be losing Desean next year and will certainly be losing Hawkins,Jordan and Desa.Someone at the WR position has to step up.

Brandon Paul-Bert Reed both 4.3 speedsters that are in a Devin Hester like role at FSU
Preston Parker - another burner that could be one of the top Punt returners and WR in the mold of Desmond Howard.
Jahvid Best - A phenomenal athlete, and even better runner
Kevin McNeil - Could be one of the best pass rushers that has come out of FSU
Everette Brown - Could be the best DE that has come out of FSU

Christian Ballard - 6'5 280 lb De with low 4.6 speed
Jeremiha Hunter - 6'2 225 lb LB with high 4.4 speed
Pat Angerer - 6'1 240 lb LB, has broken all the weight and speed records for LBs, behind a first-day draft pick right now (Mike Klinkenborg).
Basically, Iowa is going to be a fierce force.
