So I assume this adds on to the already extreme amount of information regarding the island that I have no idea about.

I think he looks a hell of a lot like Locke when he had that tiny bit of hair before they crashed on the island.

Jack saw his dead father
Kate saw a black horse
Eko saw his dead brother
Locke has seen visions on several occasions
Ben saw his dead mother
With Jacob, Locke was determined to think it was a ruse by Ben. Because of that he didn't "see" him. Only when he allowed for the possibility did he see "him." People are seeing what they want to see. Whatever is allowing for that to happen is "Jacob."

Not to mention, Hurley saw his imaginary friend from the mental institution.

He says about Locke: "He gave up something long ago that may help him now". Maybe is referring to the kidney he donate to his father. Ben could have shot him right were this should the kidney be and so the damage is not mortal.

I'm just gonna venture a guess and say that the little trench of powder surrounding Jacob's house is volcanic ash. Now that I think about it, I very much doubt that the scene in the classroom last week had no significance. They talked about volcanoes and that one erupted on the island once. Not sure of the significance of having it surround Jacob's house, but I think that is what it was, and not gunpowder or some of the other things people have suggested.

I think he is a tremendous actor. That scene where he was seemingly talking to himself last week was chilling.

That was very great. The scene I remember was in the 2nd season when Ben gave that whole monologue about leading the 815s into the jungle to be surprised then simply ending with "do you have any milk?" That was some incredible acting! I remember really being chilled by that.

Oh that was great too. Pretty much all of his time spent in the hatch was priceless.
And I love in the S2 finale when Michael asks on the dock, "Who are you people?" and he grins and says, "We're the good guys . . . "
Good stuff, I hope he doesn't die.

Hmm, interesting. Well, the volcano would be the center of the island, correct? And Jacob is probably the island, or something along the lines of that.

Page 2 again... we are slacking.
Anyways, 2 days til Lost, any predictions on who will die? I'm pretty sure someone will as there are... 3 deaths left? And it's Charlie's flashback so I'm going to guess that he doesn't die, but someone will, hopefully it's Claire.

I'm guessing Sayid dies. Someone from Sayid's past is in Charlie's flashback I believe. While Sayid has an interesting story, it really doesn't pertain all that much to what's going on with the island.

We don't know a whole lot about Sayid. There's some gap there, I think. Just a theory. It's hard to kill him off or guess he's gone when it's not his flashback episode. I don't feel like we got "closure" on him. Anyone else feel that way?

Well what closure are you looking for. The fact that he admitted to that woman in his last flashback and felt great remorse about what he did might be all the closure needed. We haven't really had closure with any of the Losties unless we get it with Charlie this week.

I feel like there's a lot we don't know about him right now. We have these little bits and pieces, but not a lot about who he really is. He plays poker with everything he does. Doesn't let a lot of info out, controls information well. I feel like I don't know him. Just a thought.

<<Nadia>> appears in this week's episode. I'm assuming not on the island but in a flashback. So perhaps we learn something about Sayid through Charlie's flashback.

Very true. I don't think Charlie gets it. That person has a British accent, so it's possible.

<<< Nadia>>> is the one thing that leads me to believe that they can't kill Sayid off the show quite yet, as that storyline is still unresolved. That being said, I think he will die, and I don't want him to.

Who do we have closure on that can die right now? I don't think anyone.

Anyone think they might have to abandon the flashbacks at some point? I mean with the way they like to kill off characters and with the limited ability to introduct new characters, its hard to imagine what the remaining 48 episodes would have flashbacks of . . . how many Jack flashbacks can they possibly do? lol

It would be very hard for them to kill off characters and not have fans be mad. They just have to do their thing and go forward.

They killed off Libby and she had a lot of questions unresolved. We never saw her flashback . . .
That beng said, I stick to my opinion that Claire is going to die. Nothing in her flashbacks is all that important, and she does almost nothing to drive the plot.
