Chelsea sign Oscar and loan De Bruyne to Werder Bremen per SkySport.

That Bremen team will be a lot of fun to watch on their good days, granted with how young they are they're bound to be crazy inconsistent, but damn are they assembling a lot of young talent.

Yeah because of the DP rule. Stupid the MLS hurts themselves like that. I'm sure they could find a taker though. Kaka would instantly be the best player in MLS correct?

Doesn't Kaka have a bone condition where he can barely walk? I don't think he will have an extravagant impact in the MLS.

Haha I was just reading that earlier. All I've wanted all summer is a stud CB to put beside Kompany(well, RVP too but I would be surprised if he winds up back in the EPL). I wanted Vertonghen pretty bad so I was kind of upset when Spurs snagged him at that price. Agger is awesome though and pretty underrated. The best part of picking up a CB is that it means Savic would hopefully never have to play in a meaningful game...ever.

I like Lescott, but we have no depth there. We need somebody at CB more than anywhere else. Kolo does not seem long for this team and Savic is Savic. Agger would be a beautiful addition.

It'll be a relief when that gets finalized. The defence was the weak part of the team last year and needs to be improved.

Santon will be great, I think. He really showed his class for the last 1/2 of the season and is one of the most talented young fullbacks in the world. He pwned Ronaldo in Champions Leage.

Brent, that report is dubious, but I still think the deal will get done. He wants to come, we want him, we are close on a fee.....it's just a matter of whether or not they can squeeze us for an extra million.

This Newcastle first team is going to be something else if they stay healthy. Marveaux looks to be absolute class. Shame to relegate Jonas to the bench, but Marveax and HBA would have opposing fullbacks ******** their pants.

And with Demba staying we're gonna have some tough decisions to make. Cisse and Ba up front is nice, but I really like the sound of Marveaux, Cisse and HBA as a front 3. We could maybe go 442 at home and 433 away from home.

It's crazy to think that we could have Demba and Jonas on the bench next year. The depth of our team is really coming along, which means we could possibly do something in the cups as well as the league.

If we go 4-3-3, who do you suppose rounds out the midfield with Tiote and Cabaye? Not having Guthrie makes that tougher. We need more squad players for sure I think. Saylor is made of glass, we desperately need CB cover (I like Perchino much better in midfield). We need another striker too, Shola as #3 sucks. Fullback cover would be nice as well (I wish we could keep Simmo).
