Yeah, the first part of season 1 of Parks was awkward and not funny. It starts to evolve towards the end of season 1 and season 2 is pretty epic. Ron Swanson is one of the best characters on TV.

Pretty much every character got better.

Leslie got less annoying and more funny.

Ron Swanson became exponentially more awesome.

Andy is a lot funnier. So is Tom. Angry sarcastic chick (I'm blanking on her name) is less awkwardly weird and more funny. Ann isn't hilarious but is a good addition to the show. And really the writing and plots just got a lot better.

Just about done with Angel, I think the show peaked in season 3 but I'm still glad I got around to watching the whole thing. I really enjoyed season 2 and 3 and season 5 while not as good has had it's moments. (Spike)

Season 4 was a let down...
