I never said he wasn't funny just not the best in the world. He is easily one of my top 5 living comics though. I dare say top 2 or 3. I like Gervaise Lewis Black and Louis CK a lot. I guess I'd round out the top 5 with Gabriel Iglesias and Wyatt Cenac.

Perception was meh for the first 30 minutes. I rolled my eyes hard when Rachel Leigh Cook jumped off the SECOND STORY to tackle that guy. That was just stupid.

The last 20 or so minutes were solid though. I'll give it another episode, but I'm not expecting much.

I think Newsroom was worse this week. They made the Neal character look like an absolute moron this week. His character was so smart in the first few episodes, now he believes Bigfoot is real? The Maggie/Jim relationship is just horrible. Obviously the writing continues to be pretentious, no shocker there - 'The stories we didn't pay enough attention to'. He doesn't even try to be subtle. I wonder if they will ever get round to doing episodes about the lawsuits brought against Will, he definitely enjoys defaming people. Wasn't a fan of the ending either, especially Don becoming all goodie-goodie and demonstrating integrity we haven't seen yet.

If the acting wasn't so outstanding across the board, I'd be tuning out. Waterston/Daniels are great individually and they have some awesome chemistry when they are on screen together.

I don't have a huge issue with it. He is a dick and his show utilizes the popular interest stuff, but there was a whole different gravity to this situation and his was a display of journalistic decency shared with the others that work on the floor. I don't see it as some breakthrough moment for him, just something that tells us that not every antagonistic personality is completely heartless.

I also don't think they ruined the Neal character at all. He's still smart (as evidenced by how he sacked up and got to work when they found out about the shooting) and I don't think wanting to talk about Bigfoot is a bad thing. It was funny. He is still the same character as he was before.

You went into this episode already thinking the character was ruined so that's what you saw. I wnet into it not thinking that and I didn't think it was a big deal.

Yeah I can't ******* stand Lisa Lampenelli. I hate her stupid ugly guts. Now I'll tell you how I REALLY feel..

I do really enjoy Donald Glover standup (because of my massive Glover mancrush) and I still like Tosh standup (not his show) and Anthony Jeselnik cracks me up, but no one comes close to Louis CK right now. He is the best comic working atm.

Am I the only one who likes the material that Daniel Tosh says, but hates the person? I find the actual words he's saying pretty damn funny most of the time, but he comes across as such an insufferable douchebag that I can't for a minute enjoy the fact that he's a good comic. Love the material, hate the person saying it...He just bothers me so much.

I love Louis CK, but he could use a little more in the delivery department, if we're talking pure stand up comedy (I don't watch Louie). I'm not saying Dane Cook yourself all over the stage, but I do miss the days of good old fashioned punchlines landing.

Newsroom was great this week and it looks like it'll keep improving. I love Daniels, Waterson, and Mortimer together. The stupid love triangle can go anytime now, but I'll keep watching.

I find Donald Glover the comedian hilarious and quite entertaining. I find his rapping to a a continuation of his comedy. A big joke.
