Just ignoring the complete awful logic of not having electronics when there's obviously fuel and energy... Not having electronics wouldn't keep machines like cars from working with minor adjustments.

It's amazingly stupid.

Two thoughts:

1) I finally watched Season 1 of Homeland. It's as good as everyone said it was, obviously. It ranks third behind Breaking Bad and Mad Men for current dramas, but that's hardly a slight against the show. I'm still not sure it should have won for Best Drama at the Emmys ahead of Season 4 of Breaking Bad though. Pfft.

2) Not typically the type of comedy I would watch, but I thing FOX's Ben and Kate is a pretty funny show. Certainly off to a better start than The Mindy Project.

Finally got around to finished season 1 of Homeland (needed to watch last 3 eps). All three were good to very good, but I didnt dig the season cliffhanger at all. Seems like something corny youd see in a soap opera, to me.

Good show, but it had no place in winning the Emmy. Oh well. Im much more annoyed about Best Actor than Best Drama. Lewis is very good in Homeland, but the idea that he got a win for 1 season of being very good, when Jon Hamm hasnt won one after 5 seasons of being amazing in Mad Men annoys me greatly. TV awards generally dont mean much to me, but I really want to see Hamm be rewarded for his work as Draper.

Also, Saul Berenson is easily my favorite character in Homeland. Love him.

When it comes to the Emmys, Jon Hamm is to dramatic acting as Steve Carell was to comedic acting. Neither will win for an iconic character and it'll be a damn shame.

Cranston deserved an Emmy in Season 4 of Breaking Bad more than any of the three seasons he actually won for. "Crawl Space" scene should have been the slam dunk.

It's just so annoying to watch cause they get so many things just flat out wrong. It's like they made it without ever talking to anyone in the navy.

Steam power is questionable because where we have seen had no water. Chicago had river but it had not shown yet. Another reason, militia will take over or abuse the authority towards steam power people. Same matter for owning firearms.


Nuclear Plants remains unknown. One source said that plants have emergency shutdown without using electricity (HOW?).


Since the Revolution is not complete yet, I wait patiently and keep looking at Charlie and Nora. lol.
