HS Class of '08
Hey I was just curious to see who on the forum is in my graduating class, and what schools you all are applying to. Just wondering....
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm Tim Driscoll and I go to Kinnelon HS, a public school in Morris County, NJ with about 150 kids per class. I'm applying to Penn State, Rutgers, UDel, UConn, the Ohio State, Minnesota, Arizona State, and possibly a few more. I may also apply for nROTC and then that changes my list of colleges but as of now those are the schools I've applied/going to apply to.

Kinnelon is nice, good lacrosse program. I don't understand why so many people on this forum go to out-of-state public schools. It may be around the same price to go to a smaller private school especially if you're doing ROTC.

I like it here, I play hockey not lax. Anyway I like the feel of the big state schools. Yes it may be cheaper, but I really am not a fan of the NJ small private schools, and some are pretty expensive. If I do ROTC my list of colleges drastically changes. You live in NJ? Are you in HS?

Yeah but everyone here knows you only pick a college based on the size of their football program

Only against scrubby central NJ teams, people should know that Northern NJ owns in sports.

especially in hockey, even though the private school final was two south schools.... buts thats just because those are the only two good hockey private schools down there while there are tons in north jersey... and delby was the best last year, led by my best friend, future NHL draft pick...

Applications out to Duquesne University, University of Scranton, St. John's University, Pace University, Buff State, SUNY Albany, Tennessee, and of course UB!!.
Im leaning towards Duquesne, with either a major in film studies or international business/minor in sports mgt.
Im also contemplating taking the postal service exam or getting my IB and becoming a customs agent. I got films written.

And hot girl to ugly girl ratio. And if you're really good at investigation, you get one with a large number of Bi-curious girls who like to experiment.
