Best Sophomore RBs Not Named Darren McFadden?
I've done two of these polls so far, and both were dominated by McFadden--- for somewhat obvious reasons.
So, to get some actual depth, let's see what you think about the "best of the rest" of the rising junior class of runningbacks.

Andre Brown gets so little love it makes me sad.
I think Stewart is obviously the most talented man on that list you provided.

I wouldnt vote for him over a few of these guys, but Jamaal Charles should be on the list, imo.

People will learn about Brown when he starts to get his carries. I really hope NC State gives him the ball 15+ times a game, if not 20+. He is a stud.
James Davis needs more love. Split carries with CJ Spiller and still put up sick numbers. Stewart is great physically but he doesn't but up big numbers. Other than Davis it has to be Slaton. His speed is ridiculous.

I think both Stewart and Davis are great. Davis has great speed. I like Stewart better than all other RBs though. I guarantee he'll be a first round pick. He carried the ball only 183 times last year, and he had a few injury problems. He'll certainly break 1,000 this year.

Davis is the answer you're looking for.

I think the problem with stewart is oregon's offense. They are trying to run a spread offense with dixon but if they had a WCO, stewart would thrive.

All of those players are Juniors now, not sophs anymore. The best sophomore RB is Javarris James without question though. Then CJ Spiller.

James isn't on Spiller's level, or Chris Wells' level.

Rashard Mendenhall should get his name out there. Granted he hasn't been a feature back yet but the kid has the tools to do some special things next year.
I'd say Stewart and Slaton rival McFadden right now.

Steve Slaton ONLY because Rice struggles a little without Leonard blocking for him.

Are you aware how the school system works? They aren't Juniors until they finish this semester.

Slaton has a long way to go before he proves he is anything but a system back.
