Samuel L Jackson is all that is man.. I think he more than qualifies for his own thread.
|
If by an overrated actor who will more than likely star in an POS movie for a paycheck. Than yes he is the man.
|
I assume you're refering to Snakes on A Plane. Just so ya know: Jackson only took on the movie because he knew it was a joke. When they told him they were gonna change the title of the movie he said he would leave if they did. It wasn't ment to be a serious movie for him. Otherwise, Jackson is still the man.
|
No Im not just talking about snakes on a plane, Im talking about Deep Blue Sea, Twisted, The Man, Freedomland, XXX number 1 and 2, etc... Hes an overrated actor hes had a handful of good roles an assload of crappy or less than enthralling films...
But you are right ...
He is the man... :?
|
Hey, Deep Blue Sea was one of the greatest drama films of our time. When Samuel L Jackson got eaten by that shark, I cried.

Just as the poll implies, the answer is Pulp Fiction by far. IF you didn't vote for that then you obviously haven't seen or maybe even heard of it

I think his role in Pulp Fiction is great, I just like his role in The Long Kiss Goodnight a bit more. Both are great.

Um yea, it's gotta be either Jackie Brown or Pulp Fiction IMO. And still there's no doubt that it's his role as Jules.

A Time to Kill over Pulp Fiction cause it annoys me how trendy Pulp Fiction is, and I doubt A Time to Kill will get many votes.

It's trendy cause it's ******* brilliant.
And I hope those who voted for SWAT were doing it as a joke.
I would've voted for The Man, had it been there.

S.W.A.T. was such a bad ass movie, so I had to vote for that one, even though Pulp Fiction is such an incredible movie I still liked him in S.W.A.T. more.

1. Pulp Fiction
2. Die Hard: With A Vengence
3. Long Kiss Goodnight
4. A Time to Kill
And anyone that says they dont like Pulp Fiction because it's "trendy" is only saying such things because it's now "trendy" to not like things that are "trendy". Catch my mother ******* drift?

There only needs to be two options in this thread, A Time to Kill and Pulp Fiction. And Pulp Fictio gets my vote.

My favorite Jackson movie was "Die Hard: with a vengence".
I acctually have yet to watch "Pulp Fiction" entirely, so I won't comment on it until I do.

Ummm not so much.
And I never said I don't like the movie, it's just very annoying how trendy it is. You can only here people butcher the royale with cheese scene so many times before you want to rip your ear drums out.

Out of the ones listed that I've seen, it'd have to be Die Hard: With a Vengeance. But I thought he was really good in Changing Lanes as well.

his best line in Die Hard: With a Vengeance was:
Quote:
Zeus: Why do you keep calling me 'Jesus'? Do I look Puerto Rican to you?
John McClane: Guy back there called you 'Jesus'.
Zeus: He didn't say 'Jesus'. He said, "Hey, Zeus!" My name is Zeus.
John McClane: Zeus?
Zeus: Yeah, Zeus. As in father of Apollo? Mt. Olympus? Don't f**k with me or I'll shove a lightning bolt up your ass? Zeus! You got a problem with that?
|
great line
