If the Thunder were really serious about getting a big man they wouldn't have passed on Brook Lopez last year for another guard. And I say that admiring Westbrook's future and skills. Ultimately though you have to wonder what Durant could do with a capable and developing 5 like Lopez though.
Well, you also said a distributor like Rubio would make sense, but Westbrook is clearly their PG of the future.
They'll either get the first pick and take Griffin because Stern rigs the draft, or they'll get something a little later and probably go Thabeet. Thabo fits in perfectly with that team, and it's certainly much harder to get a true Center than a wing.
True, it is hard to find a true center. I just don't view Thabeet as one of those "can't miss" prospects. Every time I watched him, he just seemed so clumsy with the ball. He would be a phenominal defensive player worst case scenario.
But yeah, they prolly will get Griffin thanks to a rigged draft haha

I love Durant's game, always have, I hope they can get some talent around him...I'm really curious to see if he can develop that drive to lead his team to a championship or if he'll just be a 25ppg scorer that bounces around.

Magic looked like they were starting to put the transition game together at the end of the half, good momentum to take into the second half.
I've thought all the calls have been pretty good this game with the exception of the Howard tech. I really thought he was just trying to hand it to Scaladork but whatever -- not sure. Maybe he was trying to be an ass?
EDIT: Hedo has showed up for 1 game this series. Def not worth the 50 million he wants. Second consecutive post season where he disappears and just jacks up 3's
Only thing Howard must stop doing is forcing up those ugly ones when Perk is on him one on one and he'll be fine. He's 0-4 when Perkins has a body on him. Other than that, I cant be mad at him. He's been fantastic on the boards and is looking to pass, finally. Strong defense as well. He came to play. I wish I could say the same for the rest of the team.
