Sessions would be a baller if he could hit a 3 pointer to save his life. Bad fit for D'Antoni if you ask me.

trust me if chris duhon can work, sessions can work wonders.
he doesnt really need to shoot, just feed the ball to chandler, nate and lee, and slash. he is a great distributor and can run a team given the chance.

Nate and Chandler though are guys who need to be ball dominant to score. They need to create their own offense, they aren't catch and shoot players. I just think they should stay put for this year and keep financial flexibility for 2010.

Hahaha... Duhon for the MLE... I remember that silly signing. LOL@that one.

Why not go for Raymond Felton. So underrated. Better fit, imo.

ehh. i like sessions better, i know he shot horribly last year, but i blame it on the comfortability and PT. he is 2 years younger and is an instant upgrade. i think felton's jumper is broke and past the point of being fixed. futhermore, sessions current salary is a quarter of what felton made. he's gonna ask for a lot less, making for more money for them to throw at superstars in the precious summer of 2010.
plus. its the knicks, since when does any decision they make any ******* sense?

from what i hear, he is still soft as hell. he pouted about not getting serious pt and never really bulked up. i understand that in the run n gun you dont need the bulk. but he gets outtoughed by anyone who tries, and he still plays literally plays zero defense. its Skita all over again, and the sad part is, skita might get more pt on the knicks this year.

Still don't think Portland is good enough to beat the Lakers or Spurs, but the Miller signing could vault them to the 3rd best team in the west.

Everyone is suddenly sleeping on Denver, even though they haven't lost anything from their very good team of last year.

belinelli... ugh. i still cringe about that pick.
what is the heat's plan with beastly? if they get boozer, are they starting him at the 3? someone needs to have some discussion with riley about this fallacy. he cant guard any 3's in the league, and the last thing is needs is another reason to not rebound. they need to do the exact opposite, the boy can board when he wants to. do they deal him and try to make a 1 year run? have they given up on the number 2 pick? i like beastly way more than boozer. it might not be the way to keep wade. but he is gonna be a perineal all star. it would be better to make a run at odom and let boozer get dealt elsewhere. boozer might keep wade in miami, but it wont lead them to the promised land. mike's ceiling is higher and can do more. and wade wants odom, but isnt that much of a fan of booz.

They haven't added anything either, and a lot of the other contenders have. Just sticking around with what you've got won't do it this year.

Afflalo is an upgrade over Jones and Ty Lawson is a significant upgrade over Anthony Carter.

Compared to Andre Miller/Richard Jefferson/Ron Artest?

And who knows if Lawson will be anything at all. I like him but I also saw him get absolutely abused on D at times last year.

Denver did lose their best perimeter defender...not like he slowed Kobe at all anyway but still.

I don't think they're serious contenders for the championship at this point, but people seem to think they could fall out of the top three or four in the West entirely.

Afflalo is not any upgrade on Jones as a defender, if anything Jones might be a slightly better on ball defender and rebounder. Also Afflalo while a better shooter doesn't add any long range shooting. Also I wouldn't necessarily call Ty Lawson an upgrade from Anthony Carter. As a talent no doubt he is far superior, but you are comparing a rookie to a guy with years of playoff experience. Teams which stay dormant don't tend to get much better. Look at the Hornets last year. Or the Mavs,

I see it like this,
1. Lakers.
2. Spurs.
3. Nuggets.
4. Blazers.
5. Suns.
6. Mavs.
7. Hornets.
8. Jazz.
it was hard to leave the rockets off, and they might claw the 8th spot from the jazz.

I'd go

1. Lakers
2. Spurs
3. Blazers
4. Nuggets
5. Mavs
6. Hornets
7. Jazz
8. Suns I guess

Tempted to throw one of the young up and comers in there at #8 but I don't think they're there yet. Wasn't hard for me to leave off the Rockets at all. Without Yao and Artest they are ******. Who's their second scorer? Aaron Brooks? Ariza? Lol.

7. Jazz
8. Suns I guess

Tempted to throw one of the young up and comers in there at #8 but I don't think they're there yet. Wasn't hard for me to leave off the Rockets at all. Without Yao and Artest they are ******. Who's their second scorer? Aaron Brooks? Ariza? Lol.
i know what you mean with the up and comers. i want the thunder at 8, durant would be scary in the playoffs, but its at least a year away.
i figure its ariza or battier. and they are gonna have problems scoring until t-mac comes back. wishful thinking wants me to see that group of tenacious defenders and rebounders in the playoffs again.

I think the Warriors have an outside shot as well as an 8 seed if their run and gun team gets in rhythm and some of their young studs grow.

This would be their starting lineup right now:

PG:Monta Ellis
SG:Stephen Curry
Either can take the ball up
SF: Corey Maggette
PF:Stephen Jackson
C: Andris Biedrins

Then there are some great reserves: Anthony Randolph, Anthony Morrow, Kelenna Azubuike, Ronny Turiaf, Marco Belinneli, Brandon Wright. I will tell Warriors fans to not expect anything out of Acie Law or Speedy Claxton.

I thought about them, seems like the west is more top heavy and not as deep as last year and there's a chance that someone like that could sneak in. Anthony Randolph has a chance to be a stud and if he puts some of that together this year and becomes a good 6th man for them I think they have a really good shot.

And I really liked Acie Law coming out. :(

Denver lost Dahntay Jones... WATCHOUT! haha.

They're good, but not good enough.

there is a huge faction of warrior fans who want randolph or wright to start, i really dont like maggette and he really doesnt add too much. i wish we had thrown curry into that deal for STAT. we could have had a chance to make a run at the 8 spot, but with the logjam we have at the 3 and 4, we are going to end up playing the hot hand all of this year. we need to make a deal and make a commitment to a starting 5. curry isnt worth it,and personally, i like morrow better. he understands his limitations and doesnt take bad shots. free amare!
