Sessions for 4 million a year would be highway robbery, Millwaukee has to match that.

From another forum I post on
Read a pretty interesting ESPN article that brought up something I had no idea about. If Ricky waits to opt out of his contract until after 2011, he won't be restricted to the rookie salary structure (base $3.24 million first year and increases over the next 2 with 2 option years afterwards). If he just says I won't go to Minny until he is 21 in 2011, he can freely negotiate his own contract, and I think that is all the incentive that he needs to just say, "I'll wait that extra year, get paid big bucks in Barcelona, and let you guys in Minny simmer for a little while so I can get paid."

Problem is they're only 1.6 million over the luxury tax, so they'd essentially be paying him 6.4 million this year.

I gotta say that I really like Kahn though, the man just keeps on building up our assets.

Well, my T'Wolves made another trade. Darius Songaila and Bobby Brown for Antonio Daniels and a future 2nd rounder. Gotta say I like it, as it gives us another 4.4 million to work with in the summer of 2010.

I assume the TWolves are gonna waive Antonio Daniels.. Unless Milwaukee matches Ramon Sessions' offer sheet. I don't think they really need a $6 Million 3rd string PG.

Songaila should be a good big body to backup David West for a few minutes a game. Solid enough trade both ways.

Most solid for the Hornets IMO. Like you said, they probably waive Daniels, who will probably be inexpensively re-signed by the Hornets (whose best remaining PG is the inexperienced Collison.

I'd agree, if there were 80 shots to go around between AI, Rudy Cool, Mayo and Randolph. But there isn't. There's MAYBE 50.

The Wolves just can't decide what combo of scrubs they want to keep. I've never seen so many bad players traded by a team in one offseason.

Thing is though, it's all been done for a reason and has better set us up for the feature. I love it personally.

I feel bad for Grizzlies fans. AI and Zairball will make sure that mayo doesn't get any touches and if they slip up rudy *** is always there to chuck up any shots that slip past AI and Zach.

Don't go insulting Rudy now.

Grizzlies are building the right way by stocking a lot of UConn talent!

I'm sorry but ***'s shot selection is certainly questionable and his D is non-existant. If you take the ball out of his hands he's not that useful of a player and with Zairball and AI to do just that I'm expecting a major disappointment of a season from him this year.

Just watched the Michael Jordan interview with Michael Wilbon on SC and I have to say it was really good.

It's amazing to hear Jordan talk because his demeanor when he speaks is just like he plays. He knows he's the best and he knows what he has accomplished, while at the same time being grateful.

I recommend watching it to every basketball fan. He talks about why he doesn't consider himself to be the best basketball player, his favorite moments and David Thompson, who will be inducting him tonight.

He's not my favorite player of all-time but he is certainly up there.

I would say my favorite player of all-time is Julius Erving

Some of my other favorites:

George Mikan C Minneapolis Lakers

Oscar Robertson F Cincinnati Royals

Elgin Baylor F Minneapolis/LA Lakers

Well Jordan was my first favorite athlete. I am only 22 so I don't know what it was like to watch Magic and Bird play in their primes. My favorite players off all time are probably Jordan and Reggie Miller. Now don't attack me saying there are a million guys better than Milller because I don't care. They are the 2 guys I loved watching and when the Bulls played the Pacers I was there watching because they were so clutch and you never knew who was going to win. Reggie Miller FTW

You couldn't have picked two basketball players I hated and respected more than Reggie Miller and Michael Jordan. Although had Hakeem been in the east for his prime he would be up there with them.

You would think...

No, when I was younger I was much more into the older history of the NBA than players that were around when I was in middle school.

Some of my favorite players when I was a kid were MJ, Alonzo Mourning, Steve Francis (early days), Stephon Marbury (Nets), Kobe Bryant

My favorite players now are Kobe, Devin Harris, Russell Westbrook, Rudy ***, Danny Granger

BTW, I'm 19
