That thing is beautiful. I have a Penny doll somewhere around here. God, basketball was so much better back then. With the goggles and high tops. haha.

He's currently a Cavs fan, which is ridiculous. He did the same thing with Kurt Warner. I dont know, I dont get it.

I miss the 90’s of basketball, and I wasn’t even 10 years old then but I still followed it. The jerseys were so much nicer to, and THE KNICKS WERE RELEVANT :o

I hated Penny Hardaway. There, now I don't have to hear the gushfest for him anymore.

Totally random but, talks about the 90's conjured up some old memories.
Take a gander at the Magic's 99 roster.
PG Darrell Armstrong
SG Ron Mercer
SF Bo Outlaw
PF Ben Wallace (before he was good)
C John Amaechi
And this was after they made their big trade for Ron Mercer. Prior to this, Tariq Abdul-Wahad was starting for them. Awesome. What a god awful starting lineup. Oh and the funny thing is, that trade was Tariq Abdul-Wahad, John Gatling, and a future 1st rounder for Ron Mercer, John Taylor, and Chauncey Billups, who was injured and never played a single game for Orlando. Neat.
Gah. Orlando had some ****** teams.

John Amaechi loved playing post defense. Idk why but he just seemed to have a knack for pelvic contact. He was a real banger inside.

I can't recall where I heard this, I believe it was an NBA podcast, but the last time the Knicks had cap space (all the way back in 1996) they signed these fantastic players:
Allan Houston and Chris Childs...wow.

Allan Houston was legit, they just way overpayed for him and stole him away from us, jerks.
My favorite Orlando Magic moment is still Grant Hill sign and trade for Chucky Atkins & Ben Wallace right after we destroyed Grant's ankle trying to win a couple games in a 1st round playoff series.

When the Magic acquired Hill and Mcgrady that was like one of the greatest moments of my life. ummmm yeah.
At least I had fun watching the carousel of FAs come to Orlando to be wooed. Could have ended up with Duncan and Eddie freaking Jones.

Sometimes you forget how good players like Eddie Jones were when they were a bit younger. When I think of Eddie the first thing that comes to mind is an old guard who just jacks up 3's for the Heat haha.

Sorry I struck a nerve burns, it is perfectly acceptable to latch on to teams across the country and completely disregard your local ones to fight conformity, I never said it wasn't.
As for choosing Penny, I don't think you were the only one.
There is no need to get hostile over a little jab, so quit making a fool out of yourself with the OWN3D crap.
and you're not a bandwagon fan, there.

Yeah he was solid, but he never really became the player he was supposed to be. I'm glad he didnt end up in Orlando, even though we didnt have much luck with the other two. Well T Mac was amazing for us but, that didnt amount to anything.
I just wanted Duncan back then. :)

The Christian Troy sig makes sense now.
A character that hides his deep-seeded insecurities underneath a facade of overwhelming self-confidence.

touche -- only problem is I made this sig back before the deep seeded insecurities were ever uncovered. This sig is from back when McNamera/Troy didn't have a care in the world. Had I known everything that would have been revealed in this last season I probably would have chosen to roll with Ari Gold instead.
but honestly guys, I am like an NBA guru and Im too sexy for my shirt so dont come at me with this ****.
If it continues I may have to start posting pictures of myself and beautiful woman again. So be careful what you instigate.
back to the thread -- this part of the NBA season sucks for me. Magic aren't even in a race. No one will catch them at #2 and Cleveland wont lose enough games for them to get to #1 -- it's pretty much a waiting game at this point. Let all the scrubs continue to battle for positioning, while the big dogs just keep steady. Boring.
Wake me up when there are only 5 games left and we have a couple teams playing for the opportunity to come to Orlando and get destroyed.
PS, if you really love me and would love to monitor me and my daily life then check me at @Andrew_Burns_ on twitter just causin a ruckus. Hittin up all the big time turds like LightsOut56 lettin him know whats really good. He got all butt hurt and DMed me hahaha.

Fck are you kidding me, Josh Howard is out for the year with a torn ACL. Can anyone be unluckier than the Wizards. And this is after we have gone 3-1 since we traded Jamison. I guess Blatche and Thornton are going to continue to put up monster stats. The only good that comes out of this is maybe he resigns with us for half the contract he would have received. I'd still imagine that he'll sign with a contender, but no way he gets that 10+ mil a year contract he was looking for now after his rough injury history and character issues. He'll probably get something in line with the contract Marvin Williams signed last season. It could be the Wizards are the only team who offer him over the MLE although a team who misses out on one of the big names who has cap space might throw a big contract at him.
One thing is I am happy James Singleton will play more. What a hard worker. He's a SF who is holding down our Center position.

Part of me is happy because his minutes will goto Thornton, Singleton, and Young, but the other part of me wanted to see how long the new look wiz would continue shocking teams.
I think theres a good chance he re-signs here, I'm not sure how many other teams are willing to hand over a starting spot to him.
We are rumored to be interested in D-League standout and former Cleveland Cavalier Dwayne Jones.
