That was a nice block by Hill.
Edit and he just blocked Bayless again on the dunk.

Tyreke wins ROY. Surprised at how close it was. Should've been a blow out.
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=5148787
Also, when was the last time a school put in back-to-back ROY's?

C'mon Portland. If we go through the whole first round with no game 7's I will not be happy.

OKC is too tough at home to go down in Game 6.

Did someone say that Dirk is arguably top 50 PF? He's already top 5 and moving on up.
Did you know the Mavs have won more games with Dirk than without him...as a franchise?

Top 50 PLAYER not power forward. I said one of the best power forwards of all time.

Dirk's a great player but give me Duncan, Barkley, Malone, McHale and Garnett over him. That's just my personal opinion though.
However, Dirk is the best shooting PF of all time and you could argue scoring PF of all time. A 7 footer shouldn't be able to do some of the things he does.

The only thing Barkley has over Dirk is his rebounding. He is not the same scorer or defender (and considering Dirk's not exactly a world beater on D, that's an accomplishment) that Dirk is.

Oh ok, my b.
I love Dirk though.
Keep this in your 'dark horse reality' bank: Phil Jackson not resigned by the Lakers, Carlisle fired over this series, Cuban opens up the piggy bank and Dirk plays in the triangle. I'd love to see him in a triangle.

Really? Looking at the percentages, Barkley was a career 54% shooter...Dirk is a career 47% shooter. Barkley was a better rebounder and passer. Defensively both weren't very good but I'd take Chuck over Dirk. And Chuck did all that as an undersized PF.

Dirk is a finesse' PF that never really developed a post game other than a fade away, ball fake and step under. I always wonder what he could've been had he added a hook or post moves to his offensive repertoire.

Chuck was not a better defender than Dirk, not even close.

No offense to the Bucks, because I really like their team...but damn, the Magic's road to the Eastern Conference Finals, sure is going to be a walk in the park if they end up facing Charlotte and Milwaukee. If Bogut was there, I'd give them a puncher's chance, maybe. But without him, they wont be able to hang with Orlando, assuming that they advance.

Well he did have to guard players 3-4 inches taller than him so that was a disadvantage.

Chuck was a terrible defender but for a lot of his career Dirk was too, and now he's just mediocre.
Dirk can't compare to Barkley's offensive efficiency though. He shot over 55% from the field 7 times, and that's while he was chucking up threes for some reason when he couldn't hit them.

Hayes is also built like a linebacker. Barkley was undersized and underweight at the PF position, yet he still was a beast offensively.
I think a lot of Barkley's deficiencies on defense had to do with a lack of effort as well.

What are your guys' thoughts on Rudy Cool? Instead of going after Joe Johnson and giving him a max deal, I wouldn't mind settling for Rudy. He would be a beast next to Derrick on the wing. Then we would have enough money to add a shooter or a front court player or two depending on how much Rudy would command a year (we'd also have to get rid of Deng as well and clear up some cap space).

I've always thought *** was pretty overrated as he's a lousy defender and shooter, and I want a formation of *** Love Sessions in Minnesota.

Another Phoenix/SA playoff match-up. Epic.

Phoenix and San Antonio could be an amazing series, if it isn't highly competitive you know that there will be plenty of drama.
The Suns have such different players compared to the the past years, but can they toughen up enough to handle the Spurs who just basically layed out the Mavs?

He(along with every other FA) is gonna get very overpaid. I wouldn't be surprised if *** gets something close to the max. Once the big names go the teams that have been planning for this summer forever will scramble and overpay for players like Rudy

Yea but he's still pretty young and has room to develop. I think playing alongside Rose would elevate his game because when he's on he's a helluva wing player and that fits perfectly with what we need right now.
I wouldn't mind getting Lee and *** if our big plans fall through. Maybe do a sign and trade with Deng.
I have a bad feeling we aren't going to get any of the big names in F/A this year so I'm preparing plan C and plan D. :D
