He gets blamed for everything by Spolestra as it is, so he has reason to give up.

Yeah Beasley isn't ever going to get better than he is right now, which isn't very good. He seems totally disinterested and his potential coming out was massively overrated in the first place.

Orlando will still be a 2/3 seed next year with him, so sadly...VC is here to stay.

I used to love the guy and wanted him a few years ago, but god damn he's so old now.

Yeah, so the Eastern Conf. Finals are going just like everyone expected... Who couldn't see this coming after the Magic started 8-0 in the Playoffs and dominated the Hawks...

Wow. Just an embarrassing performance for the Magic. I feel bad for Dwight. Very likable guy.

I really don't even know who to compare him too. Dude is creating a name for himself, hopefully he doesn't get caught up in being that guy.

I like him a lot. I don't think he'll be a 'stud', at least not in NBA terms, but he should be a very good player for years to come.

The Magic aren't going anywhere until Dwight Howard dramatically increases his skill level. He can't dominate against the better teams which takes away open shots and driving lanes for his teammates. The only move he can rely upon is his running jump hook.
They also need a banger at the 4 position. Anderson and Lewis are shooters. Also, how does Lewis manage to average less than 5 rebounds per game?

I think New York was, Chicago could probably go either way. They certainly have a talented young core, that's the whole reason Lebron apparently wants to go there so it's not a bad cast for Bosh either. Miami certainly makes more sense without Bron in Chicago though.
And yeah you could consider it a wash then, but take Bosh away from the Raptors and they're nowhere near the 8 seed. Not like you're comparing apples to apples there, Bosh has to imagine the Bulls would have been considerably better than the Raptors were last year if he was on the team.

Obviously its not a wash...but when players say they want to go to winning teams that they can win championships on...they don't think of going to 8 seeds. Before Bosh got injured(probably more like 5-10 games before that) the Raps were the 5th seed with a legit shot at moving up. Of course they faltered and fell pretty hard, but that potential is still there

1. Orlando will not win the Championship until Dwight Howard develops a go to move.
2. Orlando will not win the Championship until Jameer Nelson is not the starting PG.
3. Orlando will not win the Championship with Stan Van Gundy.

Dwight needs to spend the summer with Hakeem Olajuwon and learn some post moves, like Kobe did. If Kobe improved after spending less than a week with him, so can Dwight.
Also, he might want to spend some time with Shaq too, and learn the "Black Tornado" and other moves.

Who'd you like for a starting PG? Like, really, a legitimate, acquirable option for next season?

The "Black Tornado" as you call it, only works if the defender respects your other moves. So Dwight needs to establish a solid repertoire of moves before the "Tornado" will become effective.

Yeah, Dwight does need more moves. And that was the only move who's name I remember from Shaq, lol. I remember he called it that in an interview and it stuck with me. I still remember the interview, it was on an SI Kids magazine.
Anyway, do you guys think Phoenix finally figures out how to win today?
