Yeah, but you know they aren't as good. As in, you don't want Robin to replace him as a starter... and you don't want Amare leaving after the season... right?

Hakeem reaches out to Dwight Howard
http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/en_...-big-game.html
Stuff like this make me think Howard could have a bright future... if he can develop this relationship.
Howard has nights where he puts up big points... and he doesn't even have a go to move. Imagine if he were to learn some...

idk why he just doesn't bully people like Amar'e does, maybe it's just too difficult without the threat of any sort of jump shot

That's a sad statement about Patrick Ewing as a coach.

I still like the idea of Calipari coaching Chicago with Rose, Lebron, and Bosh.

If it gets LeBron and Bosh to Chicago, sign me up. If it gets Mike Gilchrist to Villanova too I don't think anything related to coaching switches and personnel moves better could possibly happen in professional sports.
As for this Lakers-Suns series, the early lead that LA had got me kind of optimistic they'd win it all (I've got them winning the championship in a pool with my friends, the extra money is always nice), but after game 3 I was a little concerned. People were a little too confident in them for awhile, now I hope they get things back on track.

Robin is a starter already, we are like 35-5 with him starting
I fully expect Amar'e to go to Miami, our future is Dragic, Dudley, Fropez

We joke now but the Suns really need to get some more young talent if Jared Dudley is in the top 3 of your young pieces. Hell our third best young player is much better than Jared Dudley and we're the ******* worst.

there is no future like the present
and you can quote me on that

ok fenikz, we get it, your team is good and in the playoffs. and i'm rooting for you, but I'm clearly, and desperately just trying to push, sell and talk about Bropez. BROPEZ BROPEZ BROPEZ. that and cap space are all I've got to brag about right now.

Ya i'm sure any team that loses their top 2 players would be ******
Lakers without Kobe and Gasol is a 20 win team
I'd take the Suns minus Nash and Amare over a lot of teams without their top 2, Celtics prob win that contest though

Yeah can you imagine how bad the Cavs would be if they lost LeBron and that other guy.
But I agree with you about the Suns. Dragic could fill in for Nash just fine and Amare is a stud but his production is not irreplaceable.

But the Suns are closer to losing their top 2 than a lot of other teams, that's what I mean.

if Amar'e leaves and either of Frye or Hill don't pick up their player options, Suns have enough money for a Max Contract
question, would the Suns be better with Dirk or Stat

That's a tough call. Dirk provides more consistent offensive out-put and his outside shooting would be scary in that offense.
But Amar'e is better at working down low. He works so well off the screen and rolls. He also is more physical and brings more of an attitude.
I think a lot of it would depend on how well they feel Fropez can develop as an impact player in the post. As much as I love Amare, I'd have to lean towards Dirk.
