Gasol deserves the finals MVP. Lakers fans would probably boo if that happened though.

I'm pretty sure David Stern narrowly avoided Downs Syndrome.

Wonderful, another NBA off season hearing about nothing but how Phil Jackson is the greatest coach of all times.

Well.. he is. I'm expecting his headlines to rival that of Lebron's new home this off-season

Rondo must be sad for signing that 5 year extension. In a couple of years when KG and Pierce are gone the Celts will suck so bad. Rasheed, Ray, and Doc Rivers are definitely gone after this year.

It's amazing how much Rasheed turned it on for the playoffs. During the regular season he was one of the worst players in the NBA but in the finals he was one of the Celtics' most important and consistent contributors. He has to have set some sort of record for discrepancy in regular-season/post-season effort.

I think if they can keep Doc and build around Rondo, Big Baby, and maybe Perkins, they could have a nice team. I think they should move the big 3 while they still have value. But then again, why would they want to be at square one again?

Well I mean he's obviously there just for a ring one last time and the Celts would make the playoffs with or without him so I know why he'd slack so much in the regular season. Unfortunately for him that slacking and not being in good shape haunted him tonight when he had to play big minutes as he started to cramp big time and couldn't stay on the court.
I actually am happy for Ron Artest. He completely threw out any character issues this season and IMO was one of the only calming personalities on this team. He really worked his ass off for the title. He deserves just as much credit as Kobe and Pau. Sometimes you just have to live with his offensive craziness.

That sounds like a 30 win team. I think the Celts are in for a long struggle once the Big 3 disbands. I have a hard time seeing them getting any significant young players by trading their aging vets. Kinda reminds me of the state my Pistons have been in since Billups left.

You gotta start somewhere. I would definitely keep Ray Allen. Paul Pierce is getting slower and slower and KG still has the moves, so he might be keepable(word?). But still, Rondo, is the player of the future for the Celtics. I still think they can do some thangs next season with the Big 3 tho.

Celts need to pry Carmelo Anthony away from Denver they should also try to get an allstar PF.
