Kobe is still bigger than LeBron...only because he's been established longer. NBA has been marketing LBJ as the face of the league for the past few years. He'll be even bigger worldwide soon.

Ahh, yes, that makes more sense.

Rotoworld:
Nate Robinson has agreed to a two-year, $19 million deal to stay with the Celtics. This comes as no surprise, and while Paul Pierce was not happy that Tony Allen went to the Grizzlies, we're guessing he's good with the return of Lil' Him. http://www.rotoworld.com/content/pla...rt=NBA&id=1153
Kevin Seraphin of the Wizards, and Pape Sy of the Hawks. Seraphin will be with the Wizards next year according to the Wiz, and I'm super excited for him. He's 6-10", huge, I heard he's around 270ish now, and he is super athletic and strong. Could be the perfect complement to Blatche or Mcgee. Sy will probably not be bought out but I love his potential especially from what I have seen from him in mini camp and his one summer league game. At 6-7" he's a legit PG. He completely owned Jeff Teague defensively, who is a very quick guard. Getting a guy who's 6-7" who can guard anything from PG's-SF's his a very valuable asset. I'd love to see him come over next summer. Hopefully getting drafted will get him more minutes in France.

yeah but there's one thing you're forgetting, Lebron is damn ugly. Easier to market a good looking guy than a ghoul.
It's still a lot. He contributes to the size/length problems the C's have. He's also not that good, and they didn't have Bird rights to him...
They should have used that money on Matt Barnes or Ronnie Brewer...or someone who can shoot (like ******* Anthony Morrow)... It's just stupid. There are a ton of vet minimum PGs out there who can do what the C's need someone to do in that position...instead, they overpay a ******** midget.
It's amazing how one of the shortest an most unathletic teams got even shorter and less athletic this off-season. WTF?
Got damn, Derrick Rose, Ronnie Brewer, and Luol Deng all together, say hello to the Zone defense, lol.
Basically. At least we have one player to stretch the defense in Korver and hopefully Deng has improved from three and the Rose reports of improvement from distance is true.
At the same time I hope they are just sprinting down the floor every time with a team like this.

The Bulls will be an elite defensive team though. Boozer would be the only liability and he isn't horrible, and even if he is struggling, Taj Gibson can come in and he's a tremendous defender. I wouldn't worry too much, but damn it's going to get ugly sometimes when they go through stretches of horrendous offense. The Bulls will be winning a bunch of grind it out games. Probably means they could be as bad as a 5 or 6 seed in the regular season but come playoff time they will own teams like the Hawks.

I love Seraphin, but he needs to improve on his FT shooting.
So basically it'll be like a couple years ago when they would hold most teams to like 80 points, but only score 78-84 points themselves? I'll take it as long as Rose's defense has improved a bunch.

This FA period has been crazy and entertaining as hell but I'm moderately miffed that it's taken some of the shine off the Lakers title. I mean, back to back chips is nothing to sneeze at, but everywhere you look it's Lebron Lebron Lebron.

On the plus side, the LeBron-Kobe finals may finally become a reality. On paper the only differences between the two teams are SF (LeBron > Artest) and C (Bynum > Ilgauskas). Everything up to that point, the Lakers-Heat Finals, is semantics and potential injuries.
Why was Ronnie Brewer even available? Memphis really didn't want to pay him 3 mill for one year? He is well worth that option, even if Rudy *** plays his position.

Yeah I'm not a big chicken counter but it would seem likely. Z/Bosh/Haslem is not exactly the ideal frontcourt to defend Gasol/Bynum/Odom and I remain pretty positive that if you can't win that matchup, it's impossible to take 4 of 7 from the Lakers. It would definitely be fun to see.
Potential injuries...someday Bynum will make a healthy playoff run! He'll be back and you'll be sowwy!
