Lakers had won the series. I wish they will win on 2011 again. They are still the best team ever. I have been watching theirs games since this season started.

Clear favorites: Lakers, Heat

Sort of on that level: Magic

Feasible: Thunder, Mavericks, Trailblazers

I guess you can call them darkhorses: Jazz, Celtics, Spurs

Longshots: Suns, Nuggets, Rockets, Bulls

Barring injury to one of Gasol or Kobe, LA will most likely be in the Finals again..If both of them are healthy they will be there. Though if I had to pick a team to challenge them, probably the last time I will be saying it, but the Spurs. That team still has the core and the past 2 drafts for them have been very good. Tiago Splitter is coming over from where ever and they have a very good coach in Pop.

Looks like Rudy Fernandez could get traded soon, suitors include the Knicks, Bulls, and Celtics. I'd love to see him in Chicago, think he'd fit really well at the 2 where another player is definitely needed and could form a really good platoon with Ronnie Brewer.

Yeah, he would be a great fit in Chicago. He would also be good in Boston as well. I wonder what Chicago would trade in order to get him...

Apparently Chicago doesn't have to send them back anything except a draft pick.

They've got the Bobcats' future pick from the Tyrus Thomas deal which could be an appealing piece. Don't think the Blazers want to take on James Johnson or the Bulls want to trade Taj Gibson, so picks probably make the most sense. Think the Knicks are the frontrunner here though, they can probably offer the most. Plus they've got the best shot of Fernandez sticking there IMO, so they'll probably be more comfortable offering better value than Boston or Chicago in light of the rumors he may return to Spain.

If we can have both of them healthy thats obviously the most important thing. But i think a healthy Bynum in the play offs is the kicker. When Bynum and Gasol are on the court together it is a match up nightmare and it is just too much length to match up with.

Not like he's going to garner more than a first round pick in return or get promised a starting job...I think the play time he'd get in Boston or Chicago and what they'd give up to get him is about right. Rudy's well known because he had a good rookie year, participated in the dunk contest, and has been complaining about his role in Portland for awhile. I think he's got potential to do better than what he did in Portland, and the upside's appealing compared to what else is out there.

Still, as a rotation guy to split time with Ronnie Brewer he wouldn't be bad in Chicago. Shoots the ball pretty well, solid athlete, not a bad ball handler, he's got some skills. Don't like him on the defensive end, but that's what Brewer's for. Compared to Chicago's other options to take minutes at SG (Eddie House, Roger Mason Jr, and Keith Bogans) he's not half bad.

Hooray, we re-signed Will Bynum to a 3 year deal. ESPN says $10.5 Million but MLive says $9.75 Million. I think either one is a pretty good deal for us. It seems like most of the Free Agent backup PG's were getting around $4 Million/year contracts, and Bynum dominates the likes of Randy Foye, Luke Walton, and Jordan Farmar.

Now we just need to trade Rip and Villanueva!

Rudy is too fragile for my liking, he is either hitting 3s or moping around being a useless body on the floor

Bosh cleared to play, but chose to sit out the most important games of the Raptors' season? Interesting...

Who knows if it's true, coming from Colangelo and what not. He's probably upset they couldn't get a S&T done.

I thought this was borderline thread worthy, but I decided this would be a better place. I don't post much in here but for the love of God please read this if you haven't heard/seen what I'm about to post (I'm sure some of you have).

ESPN.com posted an article about LeBron's post-"Decision" bash, but it was quickly removed and they apparently don't plan on putting it back up. This was posted this morning on ESPN before being taken down, but if you haven't seen this please read this, it is the only form of it I could find.

It's unbelievable all the emotional weirdness that has been coming out as a result of Miami's signings...everyone needs to chill. I've never seen anything like this.

It's just amazing how ridiculous that party sounded and how quickly that article was taken down from ESPN. I hate him but he is a boss.

Quote:
The waiter bringing him his cup of green tea with a spoonful of honey and a dash of lemon juice makes the cut, as does the scantily clad brunette with a tattoo of a heart on her right shoulder. She wants to take a picture with him. “I can’t right now,” says James. “Maybe later, upstairs, I’ll remember you’re the one with the tattoo.”

What was the article basically saying?

Also, Penny Hardaway, Steve Francis, what other old ass vets who clearly can't play anymore are going to come out and talk about how they want to play for Miami? I'm probably missing a few old guys too, but it's just pretty funny to me none the less.
