The Knicks are obviously very improved, but I didn't realize what their schedule looked like until now. 8 game win streak is 8 games, but they've been playing the worst stretch of teams out of anyone in the league.
Just random boredness. Carry on...

Yeah, that's why we try not to get carried away, we're beating bad teams which is a good sign since it means we're no longer one of those bad teams, but we need more games against the top teams to prove. There's reason to be optimistic since we lost really tight games to the good teams when we lost, we've been getting better and we showed a lot of resilience having played the most back to back games and the most road games in the league at one point during this run we've been on.

Hope the knucklehead Williams can do some good in Houston. We need an athletic guard/forward. Budinger isnt doing a damn thing this year so hopefully that puts him on the bench for good.
And it appears the Nets are stocking up ammo on trying to get Melo.

So Daryl Morey and Houston have traded for Kevin Martin, Courtney Lee, and Terrance Williams. They still have Aaron Brooks, Luis Scola, Shane Battier, and Yao. Is it just me or is that an athletic as **** team?

There's only one ball though. Twill is a massive ball hog when he doesn't realize his handling and passing is his greatest asset, but the only time he passes is to make some highlight pass.

It's you. Martin cant play defense if his life depended on it. Scoring and creating fouls is the only thing he is good at. Most of the times when he is matched up against an aggressive defender they will knock him off his game. If he is having a bad shooting nite then he shouldnt even be in the game. Scola is mostly just a crafty scorer who offers little defense and some rebounding. Doesnt box out his guy very well allowing his guy to get the boards. Battier is an old man Battier now. He's a step slow. Doesnt play defense like he use to and his shooting as been down this year. He has been coming along in the past couple weeks though. Lee is just now starting to really find his groove and play some good defense out there and knocking down his 3's. Yao is done IMO. His ankle injury was suppose to just keep him out for a week or two but he's been out little over a month now. He's always been slow but he's even slower now. I dunno if its just where he hasnt played in a year or if his injuries have broke him down completely.

Since when are Luis Scola, Shane Battier and Yao Ming considered athletic?

Hot damn, Terrance Williams is one of my favorite players (I dont know why, but he is), so Im pretty excited right now, even if it just means that 2k11 will be more fun.

Jerryd Bayless with another solid night on paper. We play the Raps tomorrow so I'm excited to see him play. Don't know if Derrick is out though. I believe he's a game time decision.

I realized how that sounded after I hit the "submit reply" button but just didn't feel like going back and changing the wording. Brooks, T-Will, Lee, and Martin are very athletic. I like what Morey is doing in Houston but they need to work on the front court considerably.

Martin is not really that athletic. And they also have Chuck Hayes, Brad Miller and Brian Cook (all with a vertical of a piece of paper). If you had mentioned Jordan Hill and Chase Budinger along with T-Will and Lee then I'd be inclinded to agree.

A league source told ESPN.com that Denver also is in discussions with Chicago regarding a J.R. Smith trade.

Just, no. For the love of God no. Seriously, I loathe JR Smith more than anyone in the league (including LeBron). I'm all for a guy to stretch the floor and play off Rose, but this guy? Granted I should probably consider the source is ESPN, but I will die a little inside if we trade for him.

If he was smarter he would actually fit in perfectly in Chicago, too bad he has a Gerald Green-esque basketball IQ.

Oh Gerald Green...he was even too stupid to come up with a cool dunk even though he could jump about 16 feet flat footed.

Haha gotta love JR Smith. I'd actually be scared of Chicago if they got him, cause he's the kind of guy that can be amazing for Rose and the Bulls, and if he's having a **** night you just play him <15 minutes and he won't hurt you.

Didn't the Bulls briefly acquire JR Smith and then trade him away or release him for basically nothing? Maybe it was somebody else I'm thinking of...
