Agreed with the point you're making big time though. The NBA draft is basically entirely about upside, why not take a shot on a big body like Pittman in the mid-late first? At the very least since his issue seems to be conditioning you get a few decent backup minutes, and he could develop into a good starter. Off topic but Villanova's got a guy coming in next year named Markus Kennedy who reminds me of Pittman quite a bit.

Blair lost 20-lbs. from his senior season to where he is now in the NBA. But you're right, Pittman had more endurance issues due to him being a bigger guy. He's putting in 30 minutes per game in the D-League so far: 16/9/1.6.

Valid, he definitely looks like he's in better shape. Not nearly as bad as Pittman was, you really had to get him in foul trouble to get him out of the game whereas with Pittman he'd just need to take a breather. Definitely impressive MPG and numbers though for him, not like he has to be a superstar by any stretch of the imagination on that team and that's half again as many minutes against better competition.

Derrick Rose eats Rajon Rondo for breakfast. Every time they meet it seems.

Rose is now starting to get to the line...a lot. Nineteen FTA's tonight. Would be nice if he continues to do that, since that'll make him an even more consistent scorer on a game to game basis.

Wizards 0-18 on the road this year, no team can claim to be worst than the Wizards. It's pathetic, time to fire Saunders he's a horrible motivator. Wizards need Sullinger bad.

Cleveland is the worst team in the league, Washington 2nd, Sacremento is 3rd. In my opinion.

19 is a little extreme, but yea it was nice.

Also, it's not like Rose has changed the way he's playing. He just actually got calls last night, that's the only difference.

Yeah 19 is unusual and won't happen on a game to game basis, but it showed that he can get to the free throw line and dominate that way. Apparently he also did change something, saw a quote where he said that he's taking an extra dribble when he gets into the lane instead of just taking off. This way instead of jumping and avoiding contact he has an easier time getting into the bodies of defenders...seemingly a minor change but apparently it made a difference last night. We'll see if it actually makes a difference long-term.

Ah, well if that's true and it had that effect then awesome. Just watching live it doesn't seem like much, like you said.

But again, over the last 2.5 years Rose has been hit so much on drives without getting a call, it's nice to see refs finally start calling something. And it's awesome that he doesn't act like Lebron when it's happened, he just runs back on D without saying a word.

Yeah you're definitely right about Rose not getting a lot of calls over the last few years, and now that he's really become one of the better players in the league I think he'll start to get more respect from the refs. Just thought it was interesting that he made a slight change in playing style also, but if he starts getting more calls it'll probably be a little bit of both. And he's got a great demeanor on the floor like you said, so easy to root for him.

I think that a player like Chandler can develop into that 2nd player. Especially if he could start at his natural SF position. There have been moments this year where he has been special. And Felton has out-played all but the top-5 PGs.

Agreed. While I love Melo, he's a ball stopper who only plays offense. While he's really good at offense and it makes him a great player the Knicks don't need that at all.

Chandler definitely looks like he can be a Rudy *** type of player as our #2 option. Felton's been fantastic. Really need a big man who can stop us from being destroyed on the boards and play some D. Kendrick Perkins is the type that's needed.

I wonder if we still are looking at Iggy. That's another move I'd like.

Melo isn't a bad defender at all. His downfall is that he doesn't always make his teammates better.

King Monta with an Earth shattering performance today vs. the juggernaut Clippers...

4-19 shooting in 40 minutes. He basically made one shot per quarter.

Steph Curry equally as good at 2-13 and 0-6 from 3.

It's funny that Detroit will get to see what they could have been if they didn't fall for Darko.

Reading that Detroit really doesn't wanna bring in Johan Petro or send out a first round pick.

Yeah. Supposedly NJ/Denver have given up on trying to get the First Rounder from us, and Dumars wants a first rounder for taking Johan Petro.

Carmelo is so awesome. He's making these demands to play with Rip, and Dumars is squeezing everything out of the Nets that he can since they're cornered.

The thought that we can get Troy Murphy and a First, and only have to take on one bad contract to ship Rip out is quite wonderful. If this gets done, THANK YOU, Carmelo!

Steph Curry equally as good at 2-13 and 0-6 from 3.
If you watched the game, you'd know the Warriors strategy was to brick shots all night.

Ahh well that makes more sense. Monta was just following the game plan. Such a great team player, that Monta.
