Apparently, the Blazers are trying to get in on the 3 team deal because they love Devin Harris. They've got a few expiring contracts to move, plus Batum, Camby, and maybe Rudy Fernandez have some trade value. This could turn into one of the most complicated trades ever.

When it scrolled on ESPN, a girl thought it was a 15-player trade meaning 15 players swapped for 15 players. Pretty funny.

Anyway, the Knicks are a very good team. They could win in the high 40s this season and could easily be a 50+ win team annually (I know D'Antoni ball is likely to be their downfall in the playoffs though).

LOVE Shawne Williams all of the sudden. He just stepped up to Artest to protect Fields.

We want the #6 seed though. Because 4 or 5 would put us against the Magic or Hawks whereas 6 gives us Chicago who we already beat twice.

I wouldn't mind trading the Detroit Pistons for say, the Los Angeles Lakers. We have Tayshaun Prince's expiring contract!!!

While shooting out of their minds and Chicago without 1 of it's top 3 players each time. I would love our chances in a 7 game series, especially with home court.

Although, it would be an awesome series to renew the rivalry and NY is an athletic team that could give us fits if they bring it every single game like they did in the previous 2 vs. us, although that's unlikely imo.

Anyone who saw tonight's game knows what should be obvious, LeBron James should win his 3rd MVP trophy.

We do that routinely. To the point where I don't know whether to be excited by it or discouraged because I don't think it's something we can sustain. Then they shoot the lights out for 3 straight games, have one dud, and continue to shoot the lights out for 3 more. It's nuts.

I think you'd be (rightfully) favored, but my main point was that I'd much rather play CHI than ORL. Not really a huge knock, I just think Orlando is scarier and clearly a top three team in the East. Chicago, especially when they get Noah back, is a good team, but beatable.

4 fouls and a TO, so you know your basic Joel Anthony performance.

Can't you at least fall into a rebound in that much time as a center?

I really, really don't understand why the Heat keep going with James Jones and Joel Anthony while Erick Dampier and Mike Miller are on the bench. And even if Miller isn't fully conditioned due to his injury then they need to take advantage of the regular season and get ready for the playoffs.

But Joel Anthony's umm "performance" is probably why Coach Spo used LeBron James as the Center (!) in the final minutes of the 4th and in Overtime.

Even though the Miami Heat are 30-9, their level of play is unsustainable. Their Big 3 scored 96 out of their 107 points. If one of them gets injured, then somebody else is going to have to pick up the scoring load. Mike Miller is the only guy even remotely capable of making up for the loss of one of the Big 3. I still stand by what I said a few months ago when I said they should have only signed Wade and Bosh and let James go somewhere else.

Getting rid of Favors is a huge mistake...The Commie and the Preacher are too impatient. Now, Brook Lopez needs to be moved. Favors can qeventually grow into a C anyway.

Lol, your theory is because one of them might get hurt they were better off without the best player in the NBA?

That logic is clearly foolproof! Especially considering there have been numerous games where Wade, Bosh or LBJ don't show up and the other two pick it up get the win.

Dwyane Wade hasn't been the most durable player throughout his career. Tell me who is going to make up the 25 ppg he scores.

Also, LeBron James isn't the best player in the NBA. Tell me how many rings he has. Oh wait: ZERO!!! How many does Kobe have? FIVE!!! LeBron James is really good, but he doesn't have the skillset that Kobe Bryant does. Athleticism doesn't count as a skill either since you have to be pretty athletic to make the NBA in the first place. All you have to do to contain LeBron James is to make him a jump shooter (I'm not saying it's easy to do though).

Right, because look how good the Cavs are without LeBron now. Clearly he was the problem in getting them championships.

I mean, Kobe really won a lot of rings when he had no help too! (sarcasm, btw)

If you're really silly enough to think rings equate to how good a player is there is no point in debating this further. If you want to argue who's had the better career and include rings as evidence, fine, but don't try to use it to who is currently the best player in the NBA right now, because it's not even a debate. Especially when considering Kobe might not even be the best player on his team this year.

Joel Anthony is a good shot blocker and a good athlete at the center position which is needed on D late in the game. Didn't see the game last night but he's played extremely well late in games the past few weeks.

Also saying the Heat would be better without James is ******* ********.

I wonder sometimes how differently Kobe's career would have turned out if the Hornets didn't make that draft day trade. Does anybody think that Kobe would be the player he is if he had had to cut his teeth playing for a team without a winning culture, energetic fan base, and Phil Jackson? I REALLY hate to defend LeBron or apologize for him, but what he's done at this point in his career is more remarkable than what Kobe did. Even though LeBron hasn't won a title yet, and Kobe had won three. Kobe was allowed to mature as a player without much being expected of him.

If LeBron had averaged 7.6 ppg his rookie season, could you imagine how bad he would have been crushed in the media? Or if LeBron air balled 3 times at the end of a playoff game, they'd still be murdering him.

You can't really compare a 26 year old LeBron and a 32 year old Kobe. Kobe was a raw athletic talent 6 years ago too, he developed his skills as his athleticism has started to diminish.

To be fair, Kobe was drafted 13th and didn't have 10% of the hype/fan fare that Lebron did coming in. That's why no one cared that he averaged only 7.6 ppg.
