so naturally with proky, rumors fly with AK-47 but i read he's a free agent at the end of this year...what would a team of:
Harris-Morrow-AK47-Favors-Bropez do? it seems intruiging, with a nice bench of farmer, outlaw, maybe if Humphries stays. throw in our lotto pick. could be decent.

Depending on how fast Favors develops and if Bropez stops being **** that team could probably make the playoffs in the East.

well Bropez has been on a scoring tear lately. Yeah, he needs to get his rebounds and D up, but still.
A lot depends on Favors development. A lot a lot.
But this team (I know, small sample size) has looked really good since we announced we were walking away from the 'Melo drama. We're starting to gel and focus solely on basketball, which is nice.
and of course, I can still have dreams of us signing 'Melo.

Right now I can't give the 6th Man award to Odom just yet. He's started over twice as many games as he's subbed in for (31/14). If Odom can finish the rest of the year coming off the bench, then it's his for sure. If I had to award someone today, it'd be Crawford again.

Thing is, though, that his stats have remained pretty much identical from when he was starting to coming off the bench.

What?! 31 Starts out of 44 games?! He doesn't even qualify for 6th man then.
That's ridiculous. Glen Davis has 9 starts only.
I'm not arguing that Davis > Odom, simply that Davis is a bench player while Odom is not.
With Bynum back, maybe he'll come off the bence for the remainder of the season.
Most likely though, swelling in his knee or something of that effect, will happen and Odom'll go back to starting
Edit:

Irrellivent. If you start, you don't qualify as for 6th man. It's simple.

according to google, you have to come in as a sub in more games than you start and your team has to be a playoff team.

Being on a playoff team part makes no sense.

Looking real quick, all I can find is that you must come off the bench more than you start. So Odom is out for now and if he starts 11 more games he has no chance. I would say definitely not a lock at all.

Yah, I'm not sure why that's really relevant either. I guess if you're not starting for a bad team, then you're probably not that great of a player anyway so it's sort of a moot point?

I'm hoping it's an unofficial "requirement" otherwise it would be the only award (that I know of) that would have such a requirement. Even the MVP doesn't require the winner to be on a playoff team, it's probably just assumed that it will be to make sense.

I understand the parameters for the sixth man award. My comment was made with the assumption that the lineup stays the same and Odom continues to come off the bench for the remainder of the season.

Michael Beasley beast mode. I'm anxious to see what we can get this lead to before blowing it in the fourth.

The remember of the season eh?
But i know where youre coming from. Its tough for me to disagree. However, it does look like Bynum is completely healthy, I think it was very good that he didnt rush back just because the lakers' struggles. He waited till he was 100% and it seems to be paying off.

9. The answer was 9, we did **** it up at the end of the third instead of the end of the fourth this time though. Nice change of pace.

That's how I feel. I'm cautiously optimistic. Like I said before the season, I'm totally down for him to pull a Shaq every year and miss the first quarter of the season so he can be healthy for the playoffs.

^I just watched that and it was pathetic.
And while the T'Wolves lack of defense is ridiculously pathetic, I'm grateful for it because it enhances the fantasy stats of all their players.
And for some reason I drafted Love, Beasley, and Ridnour.
