What do you think of the Spurs? Obviously Duncan was the franchise changing pick after Robinson but guys they drafted like Parker, Ginobili, Hill, Blair, Splitter these guys are all late first/2nd round guys, the rest of their roster over the years have been filled out by solid veteran guys. That's the reason why they have been so good for so long. If a team like the Thunder can start signing some solid veterans with the natural growth of KD, Westbrook, Green, Harden, Ibaka, Maynor etc, they will be able to beat these super teams because they have players who fit a system. Same thing goes for the Clippers if they can add some veteran players and draft steals to Griffin, Gordon, Aminu, Bledsoe, etc.

I think the Spurs have done a fantastic job...
...but it wouldn't have mattered if they didn't get Duncan.
Same with your other two examples... they'll all be built around either one STAR or two STARS that can only be acquired by:
a) a very, very high draft pick
b) trade
c) free agency
I'm all for making good decisions and building a quality team but it starts with a centerpiece (or two, or three). Then you can go out and find Tony Parkers, Speedy Claxtons, DeJuan Blairs, and Serge Ibakas.

Jesus Kobe has more made shots than anyone but Durant has attempted.
I know it's the allstar game and it's in LA, but 21 attempts and 1 assist is prettyyyy cool...

Look at that, Lebron passing on another open late game shot. lol
He's been beasting in the 4th quarter though and should get MVP despite losing. Been more efficient and productive than Kobe, but oh well.

This LeBron performance reminds me of Game 5 of the 2010 Eastern Finals, only the exact opposite with the exact opposite stakes.- Bill Simmons

Well its okay, the East got this:
Heat 57, Celtics 28. Heat 57, Lakers 54. BOW DOWN! BOW DOWN.
And the Heat scored the most of all teams!
