That gives you the Heat with 2 stars instead of 3 scotty. Jordan Williams? The Maryland one?

yep because he's our only PF.
and the only thing is that imo PG and C are the most prime positions and most important on the court. They'd have no answer for D12 and Dwill.
and bosh is ugly while DWill always, ALWAYS has a perfectly trimmed beard. so there's that

Rondo must feel awesome knowing that the Celtics are dying to get Chris Paul.
It might just be me, but I really hate the trading that goes on in the NBA. So many of these trades don't impact much and honestly it just destroys any type of loyalty a player can have unless they're a top superstar.
I really hate the Spurs, but I respect the hell out of how they built their team. They drafted a lot of those guys and then add depth with experienced talent who wants to win. Other top teams have basically been purchased (Lakers, Celtics) and it happens over and over. Their superstars get old and then they recycle them (rip off smaller market) and get new superstars.
Fans don't really care though. People acted like they were cheering for the good guy Mavs last year because of Lebron, when in reality the Mavs had the highest payroll.

leaves or gets traded?
i mean, Bropez is kinda sexy in his own, non-rebounding, sexy-in-the-paint jumpers way.

I readily admit I'm a Giant Knick homer.
Can't wait for the season to start! CP3, come on over!

The Celtics should trade Rondo to OKC so Rondo and Perkins can be together again.

OKC wouldnt do that. Westbrook is a better fit in OKC than Rondo.

They supposedly made a offer to OKC
http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap...roo k_Perkins.
I personally think OKC would be better with Rondo.

OKC still needs Westbrook to put up points. They need that second scoring threat.
Ideally, they'd get CP3 or Deron for Westbrook, but that won't happen.

I have to concede Dwight as a gonner.
The Magic won't fire Stan Van Gundy a guy that Dwight clearly dislikes. The Magic can't add pieces around him because they invested too much into guys like Redick, Duhon and Quentin Richardson. The Magic will lose Jason Richardson to FA. The Magic think Jameer Nelson is a good PG. The Magic are really just in a world of hurt.

Wonder what'll happen with the Lakers. Not a big fan of Mike Brown personally, would love a run at CP3 or D12 but not sure how that's gonna go.

The Thunder are getting better with age, so i'm not entirely sure they need a guy like Rondo, especially not when you give up the scoring of Westbrook. Yeah, they lack a true PG, but i think they can win that way. If James Harden shows that his playoff run was no fluke, i like them to come out of the west this short season.

Yeah but after Duncan retires they will be bottom feeders for a very very long time. Even now I hardly consider them a threat.

Not to mention that the Draft Lottery was rigged the Tim Duncan year.

OK, there's a glimmer of hope for Magic fans...
Under the new CBA, teams can use the Amnesty clause any year during the terms of the new CBA.
What this means is that the Magic don't have to cut Arenas BEFORE the season. Why that matters?
- Cutting him before the season starts means Magic owner Rich DeVos would have to pay Arenas $60M+ just to go away. Now if they cut him after this season it goes down to $38-40M or so. Still a big pill, but much easier to swallow.
- Now they can have Arenas during the season to see if he can become a good player once again and see if he and Dwight can make magic on the court. He and Dwight built a relationship this summer and I think there is good chemistry to build off of. Now, the Magic can see whether or not they do or not. An effective Arenas can be the biggest key to keeping Dwight in Orlando.
- Dwight shares the same agent, Dan Fegan as Arenas. Satisfying Fegan on the Arenas front counld pay dividends in terms of how he handles Howard's situation.
Not much, but it's something....
