I don't want Dwight to leave Orlando. I'd feel bad for them, they would've lost out on Shaq and then Dwight, and there'd be no reason for any fan to have hope in them if they can't hold on to any superstars.

I'm gonna say EAT IT SUCKA! like, two weeks into the season when you realize how much he sucks.

Blame Otis Smith and the horrible way he managed that roster. I commend the fact that he was wheelin' and dealin', trying to make a better squad around D12, but just about every move was a bad one.

So apparently the clippers have or are offering Orlando: eric gordon, deandrew jordan a conditional first round pick, which is the timberwolves pick which is most likely going to be a top 3 pick for dwight AND they are willing to take on hedo's contract.

Nah, most likely Gilbert will have a pretty good first month. DUnit will gloat about how he told us so.. and then Gilbert will drop off completely and we won't hear from DUnit ever again about him.

So they can ultimately pair Griffin and Howard with the worst collection of talent in the history of talent? Good for them.

Also, if the Celtics trade away a boat load of players for a guy with bad knees and no intention of playing more than one season for them, I'm going to go to Boston and kill some people.

Well... when shaq and kobe were on the same team, no one else on the team even averaged 10 points a game. The closest was rick fox with 9.
Also, imagine if they got kyrie irving too.

Kobe was a perimeter player, though, and the rest of the team wasn't nearly as bad as what the Clips have left without Gordon.

Did the amnesty clause get through in the new CBA? If so, hopefully the Magic can use it on Arenas. Seriously getting hard to support a team that has trotted out Francis, Shard and now Arenas. At least Shard wasn't a worthless turd of a human, but honestly... why can't we give Howard a chance instead of just worthless scum around him
Yeah... I'm pretty optimistic about this season...

Not anymore than Andrew Bynum would. No way he'd want to go to Milwaukee. Not enough Handicapped parking spots for him to steal.

Yes, the Amnesty went through, and unlike the last CBA where teams had to "use or lose" it if they didn't declare an Amnesty player before the season began, this time teams have a 1 time shot to use it anytime during the life of the new CBA.

I think the NBA needs to get rid of four teams. I admit the Wolves should be one of them, no matter how sad it would make me.

Please Arenas be gone! Pretty please, that would be the single best move Orlando has made since drafting Dwight Howard, it would be amazingly awesome!
Contraction would not hurt the NBA, though picking the 4 teams would be difficult. If it goes on "deservingness" then the Clippers and Wolves should be the first two to go, closely followed by the Bobcats and a crapshoot for 4th!

LOL no way is that going to happen. Yeah I know its the Lakers and everyone "thinks" they can get anybody they want but I just dont see Orlando trading him to them. They arent as dumb as Memphis. And what are the other pieces Lakers are willing to give up? Doesnt seem to be an appealing team to try and trade your superstar to with the little pieces the Lakers can move and not having a high 1st round pick. I think the Nets are the most logical place for him. The Nets are going to go all out trying to pair Williams with another star and Dwight will certainly be target #1.
And if not the Nets then we will see Dwight wearing a ******* Rockets uniform. Why you ask? Cause I said.

Lakers going to do that only to get swept again by the mavs ;)
All these big names pairing up with other big names makes basketball less exciting for me. But makes it even better when they lose.

LOL Mavs won't do much this year. Losing Chandler and Bare and Butler are FAs as well.
Lakers prolly won't do much either though but they have a better chance.

Apparently we won't use our amnesty this year because Joe Dumars feels there's a trade market for our junk. Nobody will take Rip, Villanueva, or Gordon from us unless we take on a worse contract or give them a draft pick.
