Just my opinion but it's a meaningless game so why not try to build lebron's confidence wade won't be as passive in the playoffs

So i hear Lebron likes to suck dicks and lose games in OT for his team. What a choke job.

I don't really see the excitement of going back and forth about regular season Lebron. His legacy at this point is all about the playoffs at this point, from here until he retires. He's going to be a front runner to win the MVP the next 5 years with his ridiculous numbers.
I could care less what he does in the reg season, good or bad. Unless he wins a championship, and pretty much carries his team along the way there, what he does in these months will continue to be pretty irrelevant.

Wall will eventually become a good player. He's too talented not fulfill some of his potential, but he has a lot of work to do.
Last night was the first time I've had the chance to watch him and he's frustrating to watch. His game has flashes of brilliance mixed with mind numbing stupidity. There's no denying his physical gifts. He's blazing fast, athletic and has good vision/playmaking ability, but he has no feel for the game, he makes bad decisions on a consistent basis and his shot needs work.
On one hand I understand that he's surrounded with ineptitude. Flip also caters to his teams' stupidity by allowing individual freedom on offense, but Wall is as much as a culprit to their horrid play as anyone else. He's supposed to be the best player on the team yet he too is playing out of control.
Wall's game is built exclusively on his physical gifts right now. He has no idea how to play within a team construct, dictate tempo or command the floor. He needs to slow down because he's most effective blazing down the court in transition.
He has to take control of that team on offense. He has to slow the game down and dictate tempo. He's going with the flow right now and pouring gas on the fire with his wreckless play.
It would also help if he had a jump shot because teams will continue to go under picks to deny him penetration. The key to stopping Wall is to keep him outside the paint and it's not very difficult in the half court when he's not a threat to beat you from outside.
I think he'll still become a good player though as he grows and becomes more mature. Washington will eventually surround him with players who have brains and a regimented coach that will force Wall to slow down and read the game.
He has been very disappointing though so far. I had my doubts about him coming in, but his decision making has gotten worse since he was at Kentucky and he still doesn't have a consistent shot.

Rick Bukre(sp?) doesn't have Durant in his top 7 and has Russell Wesbrook ahead of him.

Meh. Wall has a lot more offensive potential than Rondo because he is talented enough to do damage in isolation situations. Rondo would be absolute **** on offense if he didn't have KG, Pierce and Allen around him.
Rondo is strictly a player whose flaws are covered up and whose strengths are maximized by the system around him.
Wall has a better chance to become a good offensive player than Rondo ever does because of his athleticism and skillset.
Rondo though has a better sense of game management, distribution and tempo control.

No I absolutely agree that Wall has more potential to be the better offensive player, without a doubt. But your point about keeping him out on the perimeter and making him take jumpers is what made it sound like Rondo. You could literally guard Rondo from the free throw line and not get hurt.

I'm glad this is a shortened season. I don't think I could watch 82 games of these Pistons. Bad defense, can't score, and lots of turnovers.
Fortunately Villanueva, Daye, and Stuckey haven't played a whole lot this year. Tayshaun Prince hasn't played very well, and Jason Maxiell is not so good. I can't think of a more useless Piston in recent years than Austin Daye, he is just depressingly horrible.
Damien Wilkins is pretty much our 6th Man these days. That's how bad it is.

IMO he left school a year too early, and I think the toxic situation that was Detroit last year effected him as well.

To elaborate on Daye's terribleness (current year stats):
PER: -2.29 (317th out of 317)
True shooting percentage: 26.3%
Own production on 82games: -5.4
Field goals: 9-43
Three pointers: 0-10 (this is his main skill supposedly)
Turnover/Assist ratio: 11/8

Pretty much. I thought his jump shot was supposed to be his specialty, but I can't tell from this year. He's bricking nearly everything. It's really bad.

He's been picking up a lot of fouls lately. I dunno.
Greg Monroe is amazing. Brandon Knight and Monroe should be the only two players allowed to touch the ball.. with some Jerebko and Gordon sprinkled in here and there.
