That editor is a god damn moron and deserves to be fired. How does that even slip out?
ESPN already released a statement apologizing.
Also, what happened to Monroe yesterday, WMD?

I think one thing we've learned so far with the whole Jeremy Lin story is there's less blowback for being racist towards Asians than say African Americans. The media just apologizes and then goes right back to doing it again. They should just not apologize and cry first amendment because it rings pretty hollow.

I think its more "phrasing" /archer than it is racist. Chink just happens to have multiple meanings. Its kind of like having a headline for Rick Neuheisel's hot seat last summer reading, "Fire-Cracker". Well not really, but it was the best I could come up with.

Inexcusably poor phrasing, though.

I didnt even notice it when the pic was first posted. Just read it like a normal headline. I thought it was posted because Lin was finally getting some not-so-stellar headlines. It wasnt until someone pointed it out that I noticed it.

Yeah, definitely not the way to go. Especially with all the race talk of late with Whitlock and Merriweather.

He didn't want to take advantage of Cousins' back spasms so he allowed Brandon Knight and Stuckey to dominate.

John Wall stats the last 10 games.
18.6 ppg, 8.5 assists, 4.2 reboumds, 48% FG, 82% ft.
Not bad considering Javale McGee is the only player on the team who would get minutes on a team that isnt the wiz, pistons, hornets, or bobcats.
