McGee and Nick Young benched. I guess its good to get those knuckleheads off the court, but the problem is Jan Vesley is now our #2 center.

So the Timberwolves offered us Michael Beasely for a first round draft pick and we turned it down.
I think the only way we can take him is if the Wolves take a player in return. The question is... which player would the wolves even want.

I am so ******* glad first that Kobe is cleared. I don't think the Heat would have heard the end of it if Kobe even missed a game. But more importantly, I am glad the NBA didn't listen to people on Around the Horn in the most overreactionary discussion ever. I mean my God they sounded like the Lakers fans forum not a group of objective journalist. Which is no shock with Billy Laker on the panel. But they were saying Wade deserved to be suspended. That he intentionally hurt Kobe. What a load of bull ****. I ******* hit the mute button. Why the hell would Wade want Kobe hurt? He is in the other conference. He is a guy that could beat the Thunder for us in the playoffs. And what would the suspension be for? Playing defense in a game that defense is apparently not supposed to be played? Whatever, I am glad Kobe is okay. He didn't miss anytime and if it was so ******* bad, why the **** did he play after the foul.

A first for Beasley??? What a ripoff. Why the he'll would LA even want him. Lakers trade rumors are always ridiculous.

If you think it's that ridiculous you clearly overrate late first round picks in the NBA. They bust more often than not.

i feel like a large expiring (6+mil) of Beasley would garner more than a ****** late 1st rounder. interesting

"I can't say I do, but I'm sure I'll figure it out sooner or later."
JaVale McGee, when asked if he "understands" the message Randy Wittman is trying to send him and Nick Young by not starting them.
He has to try to be this dumb

Late firsts suck.. You're better off with an early 2nd Rounder, you get a similar player but don't have the guaranteed contract.

Kahn will just draft someone from Turkmenistan that won't be eligible to play until 2017 anyway.

His name is Tanguy goddammit. And he may or may not be 28 years old, so it's a mystery out there.

There were draft experts who had no idea who he was when we drafted him so I'm going to forgive myself for spelling his name wrong. I just remember watching him tear up those rec league games in the highlight video they showed and cracking up. There was literally no one in the stands. I think Kahn just liked his name.

When you have a chance to draft some guy from the Qatar without a position and without any actual info about him, you have to do it.

I wasn't even thinking about it being a late first, but I see your point. I'm just saying, their 3 spot isn't that awful and does anyone really want a rotation of Mike Beasely, Matt Barnes and Ron Artest at small forward? I don't think so.

I'm not saying Beasley is good, but his ability to get hot and drop 25 any given night can be valuable off the bench. And their 3 spot is pretty awful, as you basically outlined yourself.

Does anyone want a rotation of Barnes and Artest? I fail to see how Beasley makes that worse.

I'm hoping someone wants to take a few players off of the Pistons' hands.. Tayshaun, Stuckey, Gordon, Daye. Especially Daye. He's just the worst. I know nobody will take Villanueva from us so I won't get my hopes up there.. but Tayshaun, Stuckey, and Gordon could be valuable for some teams.
