It doesn't. I'm saying that they need to try to improve their point guard spot mores than anything. If they can't do so with that first round pick, then I guess Beasely would then be a good move.

Magic are pursuing Monta Ellis to add to Howard...but, the Warriors want to trade him for Dwight Howard. Cute situation.
Ryan Anderson has a lot more value these days and the Warriors like the Meerkat, that's probably where a potential deal lies.

I'm still unsure what the Celtics are doing with Rondo. Trade your only good young player on a aging team to rebuild? Why not play out this season, Ray Allen and KG will be F/A and likely open enough space maybe make a run at Howard. Howard/Rondo/Pierce can compete with any squad.
If they do end up moving Rondo, I think they try to find a young bigman to build with. Only one I can think of is Bynum, so maybe a Rondo for Bynum type deal?

He's an immature ass hole. Apparently they want to move him because of his ****** conduct and disrespectfulness. He must be a real dick behind the scenes.

Or dealing with Doc Rivers and Kevin Garnett gets really ******* annoying when you're an introverted person.

Meh. Rondo has always been immature and stubborn. Maybe it's just not the best situation for him. But he's not the coolest of customers. lol.

Better to be an asshole behind the scenes than morph into a selfish asshole when it matters most (aka Russell Westbrook).

But if the Celtics trade Rondo, who will they have to throw Hinrich into the scorers table and then run away if they face the Hawks in the playoffs?

If the Lakers make a move for Rondo its gonna be Pau, not Drew.

So it has come to my attention that Rodney Stuckey can't be traded this year, because he was a Restricted free agent and didn't sign his new deal until December 19th. RFA's can't be traded for three months or until March 1, whichever is later.. so Stuckey's three months would be March 19th, which is after the deadline. Oh well. Dumars probably wouldn't trade him anyways. Arron Afflalo also can't be traded this year.
Today is the first day teams can trade their Free Agent signings.

Boston wants young players to rebuild, and Bynum is the much more attractive piece. Unless the Lakers can find a 3rd team that wants Pau and has young players to give up (Rockets?)

Mark Cuban has dreams. Don't go crushing them with logic.

But realistically how many bad contracts can the Suns throw in for Kidd and Odom

Ok Magic here's you a pretty deal you should accept now!
Rockets trade- Kevin Martin, Terrence Williams, Luis Scola, Samuel Dalembert and 1st round pick
Magic trade- Dwight Howard, Chris Duhon and Quentin Richardson and future 2nd round pick
Boom!

Will Boston have the cap room to make a run a Howard this off season? KG and Allen both have expiring contracts and Howard could be open playing with Rondo and an aging Paul Pierce.

If you all think dipping into the luxury tax is gonna stop Cuban from chasing 3D, you're nuts.
Also, fenikz, i know it's nice to dream and all, but unless it's with Gortat (or you deal with an inept GM like Kahn or Ainge), no one's taking back two of those awful contracts.

It's not about the luxury tax he has to move 2 horrible contracts and decline all his team options to field a team of just Dirk and Williams
I guess they can amnesty one(Haywood) and try to move the other(Marion) along with Beaubois and Jones for some minuscule contract

One of those guys is getting amnestied, that goes without being said. Marion shouldn't be as difficult to move as say a Baron, or a Childress, because he actually has value. He's a solid SF for a contender.

Lakers wouldn't take Beasley's contract for nothing and Marion is as much a head case as him and just as untalented
