Lin and Melo for Deron. Move Shump to SF. We'll be a better team for it.

I want to keep Lin, but the only way we can move Melo is if we include Lin in the package. Lin would sell tickets, Melo would get you an elite scorer, I'm sure a package of those 2 will attract somebody to pull the trigger. Especially since Lin is so damn marketable.

Fine. Let him go to Dallas for nothing in return. That's the alternative scenario.

i'd almost rather that than watch Lin be my PG.
I'm obviously using hyperbole, but I'd rather take my chances trying to bring Dwight and D-Will to Brooklyn than do that deal

Pekovich is so god damn good. Completely owned Gortat tonight. And Love was sexy as always. I love when Beasley is efficient, and D-Will was awesome as well. We can definitely make the playoffs even without Rubio. This team is cool as hell.
Even better than the Wolves this year has been their marketing team. Every ad is hilarious.

IMO its not Melo thats the problem as mush as its the Melo-D'antoni relationship. Melo needs a coach that will chew his ass out and hold him accountable (Boheim, Karl) not a nice guy like D'antoni. Basketball wise too D'antoni preaches passing and sharing the ball, trusting teammates and moving without the ball. Those are literally like the 3 things Melo doesnt do on offense. After the year I think the right coach can come in and turn you guys into a real contender but your going nowhere this year

Ya except for the fact that he didn't win anything with George Karl. Also Karl has repeatedly has made statements of how much better everything is in Denver without him. How the ball moves and the overall team defense improved.
You can have any coach you want it doesn't matter. Melo is not a first option player. There is a reason why when people talk about how well he played in the Olympics.
It's cause he was surrounded by the top tier talent. He could not afford to pull the bs he pulls in the NBA on a team with guys like Wade and Bryant on the team.
That sounds like a brilliant idea lets blow up the team yet again to have it fit the one guy who does not fit within with the rest of the players.

90% of all sports interviews are the same basic answer over and over.. They answer the question without saying anything.
It gets a little tired after a while.. but if they say anything out of the ordinary, ESPN will spaz out and ask everyone how they feel about it on Twitter..

I hate it. I really wish we could hear player's true thoughts and feelings. It would only enrich the sport I think.
"So Dwayne, what is your opinion on Kobe?"
"f*** that guy."

The Knicks played the Bulls pretty hard tonight. When they can move the ball, they can be a productive offense. Also, the Bulls had a bunch of breakdowns defensively, in that second quarter, that can't happen Wednesday.
Regarding Melo, there's a reason he's only been able to win in the postseason for one year. He's a scorer, but needs a lot of possessions to get his points. When Jimmy was able to smother him, he had trouble tonight. Lin played a solid game tonight. The small lineup wasn't the worst idea, but The Bulls have a habit of being able to out-rebound teams.

Today's youth is plenty ****** up as it is. That would make things so much worse.
Hooray for role models.

Well yeah, but realize Kobe would say that kind of stuff about every other player in the league if that were to happen...
