Remember when Sheed got suspended a few years ago for threatening a ref in the Parking lot after a game? Sheed knows what's up!
http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/print...type=columnist
Then, about an hour after the game, Wallace was speaking with Memphis guard Brevin Knight and signing autographs for an acquaintance of Knight's when Wall, Donaghy and Steve Javie, the third ref, came walking past on the way to their car.
According to a source, Wallace shouted at Donaghy, "That was a bull---- call and technical, and I'm gonna get my money back," referring to the fine players receive for getting T'd up.
Donaghy then, according to the source, shouted back, "Watch the tape."
At this point, things get a little murky. Wallace then apparently took some steps toward Donaghy, and, a source says, said, "No, you watch the tape," and cursed at Donaghy. What is also unclear -- and very important, obviously -- is whether Donaghy cursed back at Wallace, or merely repeated what he'd already said, or didn't say anything. No one I spoke with disputes, though, that Wallace reacted by raising his arms -- as if to throw a punch, the league believes; with no malice toward Donaghy intended or planned, Wallace's people believe -- and moving toward Donaghy, who moved toward Wallace. Another source contends that Wallace then yelled at Donaghy, "I'm gonna kick your ass, punk-ass mother-----," and that the league viewed this as prima facie evidence of a threat against the official -- the major reason for the seven-game suspension.

Talks about Donaghy and games he may have affected.
Suns-Spurs Game 3 this year (Which he was definitely present at)
Raptors-Nets Game 6 this year
Magic-Pistons Game 2 this year
Heat-Knicks game last year
I don't know if this is speculation or if Donaghy officiated those games, but he was on the court for the brawl at Auburn Hills as well.

USA Basketball. Blue Vs White Scrimmage.
The 5 players i think who will be cut are, (because of the scrimmage)
1 Tayshaun Prince- He really doesnt offer what another player does. A solid player just not special in any one way.
2Michael Redd-Hes a good shooter, but Miller can probably do just as well.
3Shane Battier- A great defender but i dont see any roster room for him.
4JJ Reddick-Self explanatory for right now.
5 Kirk Hinrich-Deron Williams is just more talented. Kirk is more of a combo guard and lets face it, Deron is a pure Pg who can really pass it and is a threat to score. Kirk just doesnt have the talent.
The Surprise is that KD might actually be good enough to help the team. Obviously I wasnt able to watch the practices but Ive heard hes been an incredible talent there.

Not sure if any1 posted this one, but about the ref....
The Heat had him 8 times this past season. They were 1-7, and the win was a two point overtime win, which they were favored by 8 points, so they lost in the spread. Now, I am not trying to be a bad person and conspiracy theorists, but the worst one was a game between the Heat and Knicks in which the Knicks won 99-93, and shot 48 free throws to the Heats' 5. Now I'm not bitching and moaning because I know the Heat weren't the only ones ****** over by him, and it didn't matter cuz the Heat weren't going anywhere anyway, but yeah, this wasn't good. BTW, no I did not research this, some guy on the radio I was listening to said it.

Well get this... The Trade Exception that Phoenix got from Seattle came from the Magic in the Rashard trade... So not only could we have used Kurt, we could've gotten the 2 first rounders. Otis Smith is a Dunce.

The Red White scrimmage was very interesting. There are 17 guys they need to go down to 12, the cuts I am sure of so far are JJ Redick(If coach K puts him on he is throwing away his job at team USA, homers are not appreciated), Kirk Hinrich(Again Deron has smashed him ever practice and in the game Deron facilitated and Kirk had small minutes and did nothing). As for other guys Michael Redd will probably get cut. Mike Miller is a much better defender/rebounder, and all of the practices and the game has been a better shooter, plus he's more athletic and can drive, more versatile, I can't see Redd making it over Miller. Battier should be cut but you know the coach K connection and there being no "defensive" stopper on the team. Prince could get cut but I'd like to see him on, he would really help. Many of you don't like him because you think he's "average" but he can really help this team out. Against most international teams he can play the 3 or 4 for you on both offense and defense. He has a solid outside jumper and when hot he keeps going but if he misses 3-4 shots in a row he will stop unlike other players on the team. He is an excellent defender and most importantly against the upper tier countries you need someone to disrupt outside shooters, and his long arms will do that, also him posting up smaller forwards/guards is a valuable assets, and he can create extra possessions for you. Kevin Durant could actually make the team, but as much as I love him what he brings is just too similar to Carmelo Anthony. Durant was great in the game nailing everything, all practice week he also has been money, funny he was so much better shooting with team USA than in summer league, but in Summer league I was not one of those worried because the shots he was missing were open one's that you know he will make, he will be a 20+ scorer from day 1. As for team USA he does have a shot at being on the team as a counter for the typical Euro. He can play the 2 because guarding many Euro guards is easier because what he lacks in footspeed many Euro's are unwilling to challenge, they will settle for the perimeter where his long arms will disrupt, plus if his shooting is on he could be a high scorer on this team. Tyson Chandler needs to make this team, he brings that toughness and attitude team USA needs to intimidate other teams, no more of the exhibition we will dominate you attitude. He boards better than any other on the team and blocks shots, off the bench he is great. Jason Kidd will and should start at PG every single game, there is still no other PG I would want running team USA, other than experience he in these competitions just knows how to get teammates involved and is still superior in passing over any PG in the world, except Steve Nash. The PG's on this team are crazy in Kidd, Deron, and Billups, with a bunch of 2's who can also run the point. Also love these real game situations cause the players learn stuff, like Kobe taking a timeout with 20 seconds left in the game is a technical in international play cause in the last 30 seconds only a coach can, so better learn now than later.

I see your point with Prince especially since international big men like to stay out in the perimeter and shoot 3s.

I knew that Suns-Spurs game was fixed. That was the worst officiating I had ever seen in an NBA game.

I think that a 31 point discrepency is terrible. This whole situation is going to give a huge black eye on the NBA. It also makes you wonder who else is throwing games.

if it turns out that 3 or 4 more refs were doing this then the entire integrity of the game will go straight down the drain

Another thing about this ref is that he threw out the most technical fouls this season...
