Yup, the NBA is completely rigged. It makes it really hard to care.

I'm usually not one to complain about refs, but this is getting to be really one sided.

This is just sad to watch. I kind of thought Ray might have turned the corner in game 7, but apparently he's still in a funk.

3 techs and Boston is only down two? Danny Crawford isn't calling enough of them.

If they don't take back those two points on that Joel Anthony putback, I'm going to be very sad. Although I assume they'll just look at that play again and decide the Celtics deserve a technical foul for forcing a shot clock violation.

EVERYTHING IS A CONSPIRACY
Not taking Anthony's putback off the board is pretty bad though.

Brilliant retort as always.
I see they did end up taking Anthony's basket off the board.

Let the record show that I have no illusions of the NBA rigging this game, and my team is the one that is supposedly on the losing end of the fixing. The personal fouls have been evenly called, and not very many of them have been that questionable.
Every single one of the technicals were poor calls, though.

Well the Allen and Doc ones were bad. In the officials defense tho, the Celtics were warned on the Garnett one.

Not nearly enough complaining about the refs in here, way too much actually basketball discussion.

The Garnett delay of game was a good call. If you already have a warning you don't touch the ball, its that simple. It slows down fast break opportunities if people can just slap the ball around after every basket.

I understand that they were warned about a delay of game tech, but that exact play happens at least 20 times a game. Players just tend to tap the ball toward the baseline.

It wouldn't be a Miami Heat game without that tho...

Unless we win and the other teams shoots more FTs, then this thread is silent as ****.

I was simply referring to the three technicals. Even if I grant you the Garnett one, please explain at all how the Doc Rivers one was a legitimate technical?

I'm not saying its been a perfectly called game, I'm saying that there are other aspects of basketball other than officiating which you ignore time and time again and the league is not going to fix the series against the freakin Celtics.
