Melo is a good(very) scorer and very poor passer. There is a big difference between an average passer (as in makes the passes he should) and a very poor passer and there is a decent distance between a great scorer and a good scorer. We are talking the difference between say Jordan and Mitch Richmond when you compare Durant and Anthony on the scoring front.

On top of that, the Thunder are better managed and have a lot more talent around them. You also totally glossed over that Durant is a great teammate and not a blackhole cancer, basically the two words that you never want to hear as adjectives for your star.

And my point was that without the flopping, all Battier can do now is hit a wide open three. And outside of the finals, he's sucked at that.

Speaking of Harden, he's really put me off these playoffs on him. I like him a lot, i really do, but he is so god damn reckless and stupid sometimes. Him and Russ have a way of turning stupid mode on and just going three or four straight possessions being black holes. At this point i'm not sure which one i'd prefer to keep.

Interesting hire that probably nobody saw coming. He actually did a decent job filling in for Lavin last season at St. John's considering the team was full of freshmen.
