Good bye Beasley and Randolph. I don't get why we didn't trade them at the deadline if we were just gonna drop em anyway.

Because Kahn. On another note, why are the T'Wolves after Gasol or Omer Asik? Just because they traded for one wing, doesn't mean they don't need another.

Both Iggy and Cool would be fine additions but I'd rather Iggy. You have offense in KMart, Lowry, and a solid rebounder/post presence in Scola. Add Asik and, even if you trade Lowry and re-sign Dragic, the Rockets have a solid team

Dragic
KMart
Iggy
Scola
Asik

Pretty decent

We better not sign Asik for that rumored price. We already overpaid for one non-scoring center

Chris Paul: 16.1 ppg, 7.8 apg, 5.1 rpg, 2.2 spg, 2.3 topg, 43% FG, 28.2% 3 pt
John Wall: 16.4 ppg, 8.3 apg, 4.6 rpg, 1.8 spg, 3.8 topg, 41% FG, 29.6% 3 pt

Sophomore Seasons
Chris Paul: 17.3 ppg, 8.9 apg, 4.3 rpg, 1.8 spg, 2.5 topg, 44% FG, 35% 3 pt
John Wall: 16.3 ppg, 8.0 apg, 4.5 rpg,1.4 spg, 3.8 topg, 42% FG, 7.1% 3 pt

No reason Wall can't make a Russell Westbrook type leap.

Westbrook is the guy most closely compares to, and Wall finally has his sidekick in Beal

Rookie Seasons:
Westbrook: 15.3 ppg, 5.3 apg, 4.9 rpg, 1.3 spg, 3.3 topg, 40% FG, 27% 3pt
John Wall: 16.4 ppg, 8.3 apg, 4.6 rpg, 1.8 spg, 3.8 topg, 41% FG, 29.6% 3 pt

Sophomore Seasons:
Westbrook: 16.1 ppg, 8.0 apg, 4.8 rpg, 1.3 spg, 3.3 topg, 41% FG, 22% 3 pt
John Wall: 16.3 ppg, 8.0 apg, 4.5 rpg,1.4 spg, 3.8 topg, 42% FG, 7.1% 3 pt
Haha, please don't compare Wall to Paul. I still think Wall will improve but they are completely different players. And those turnovers are a HUGE difference, mind you. Not only that, but Wall can't shoot for ****, where as Paul has always been able to shoot. Turnovers are the biggest issue for Wall in my eyes. He turns it over way too much for my liking.

I'm not sure how Wall turns out, but he needs to improve his shooting. He's had a god awful team and there is still hope for him but there's also a lot to dislike about how he's played, and aren't there questions about his maturity too? Always a concern for me. Still, I think he'll be a good player if he can cut the turnovers and develop his shooting a bit.

I know that some will think Im a BBD level jackass with this comment, but Iggy isnt THAT much of an upgrade over Chandler Parsons. He's a better passer and a better athlete, but thats not worth 10+ million dollars.

During February last year, Parsons was a 13/6/3 guy who played fantastic d and showed up in big games. The highlight being his performance @ OKC in a win, 21/7/6, and awesome defense on Durant, holding him to zero FGs in the 4th quarter and an 8-18 night overall. Or perhaps Kobe going out of his way in a post game interview after Parsons had just shut him down all night to say that Parsons will be a really good player for a really long time.

He's not Iguodala, but it's not at all worth it to trade most of our pieces for a SF when it's one our strengths.

I hope Hibbert signs in Portland, him and LA would be the new twin towers, of course signing in Portland Hibbert risks tearing his ACL hopping off the plane. If he develops which he'd have time to do eventually Aldridge, Hibbert, and Meyers would be one of the top big men rotations in the league. And if Indiana matches the max offer for Hibbert between Dallas and New Jersey the loser of the Deron sweepstakes should go after George Hill as it will be tough for the Pacers to have to match a decent offer for Hill as well.

That's a lot of money for Asik.
Wonder if the Bulls see if they can try to get anything in return and just let him sign in Houston. They've said they'll match basically anything on Asik, but for a backup center with no offensive game that's too much.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO my dreams of Joe Johnson being traded are being shattered.

Also I want to slap the F out of D12 right now. He went to the Players Association and asked if he could force his way out of Orlando, of course they told him a big F you and that you have to play out your contract. You opted into your contract you big dummy. Right now you could be choosing between Brooklyn, Dallas, and Houston where you wanted to join Deron Williams. I still love D12 as a player but I hope the Magic get good value for him no matter where they trade him. I hope they send him to a crap hole like Charlotte or Tortono and make him suffer for a year. Or hell make the next year for him a living hell in Orlando, he brought it on himself. You are demanding a trade but only to certain teams, you decline to become a free agent and make your own choice, I hate D12 right now.

How do offer sheets work in the NBA? If a team signs him and the team that owns him doesn't match it, does that team get something?

I was thinking Asik would get like $5M and didn't really wanna pay that much.

$8M? lol...

I really hope the Bulls wouldn't match. There's no way they can afford that.

Looks like the Bulls are slowly on the decline. They're gonna lose Asik, Boozer is still there and still sucks, Rose tore his ACL and may never be the same, Deng is still a mediocre #2 who compiles #s on a bad offensive team, and Noah is still an overpaid Center.

I was looking forward to stomping the Bulls out this year in the playoffs, but looks like that won't happen bc they might not even get there.

In a perfect world this trade would go down:

Olahoma City Receives:
Dwight Howard
Kyle Lowry
Quentin Richardson

Orlando Receives:
Russell Wesbrook
Kendrick Perkins
Kevin Martin
Marcus Morris
Terrence Morris

Houston Receives:
James Harden
Daequan Cook
Justin Harper
JJ Reddick
Justin Harper
Cole Aldrich

OKC:

PG: Kyle Lowry/Eric Maynor
SG: Thabo Sefolosha/Reggie Jackson
SF: Kevin Durant/Perry Jones
PF: Serge Ibaka/Nick Collison
C: Dwight Howard/Nazr Mohammed
They could now afford to keep Ibaka. Durant would be the unquestioned #1 scorer, he could feed Dwight in the post and no one is scoring inside on Ibaka and Howard.

Orl:
PG: Russell Westbrook/Chris Duhon
SG: Kevin Martin
SF: Jason Richardson/Hedo Turkoglu/Terrence Jones
PF: Ryan Anderson/Marcus Morris/Glen Davis/Andrew Nicholson
C: Kendrick Perkins
Orlando would have an elite player in Westbrook and a great complementary scorer in Martin. Perkins is solid. They would now have a ton of assets at PF could flip Morris, Jones, Davis, and Nicholson into an upgrade at SF or package with Perkins for an upgrade at center.

Houston:
PG: Goran Dragic
SG: James Harden/Jeremy Lamb/JJ Reddick
SF: Chandler Parsons
PF: Luis Scola/Royce White/Donatas Montiejunas
C: Patrick Patterson/Cole Aldrich/Greg Smith

Houston turns some of their assets into one of the top SG's in the league already in Harden, sill can use Scola or Reddick or some of their young assets like White, Patterson, Aldrich, or Montiejunas to parlay into a better center.

JJ Reddick
Justin Harper
Cole Aldrich

OKC:

PG: Kyle Lowry/Eric Maynor
SG: Thabo Sefolosha/Reggie Jackson
SF: Kevin Durant/Perry Jones
PF: Serge Ibaka/Nick Collison
C: Dwight Howard/Nazr Mohammed
They could now afford to keep Ibaka. Durant would be the unquestioned #1 scorer, he could feed Dwight in the post and no one is scoring inside on Ibaka and Howard.

Orl:
PG: Russell Westbrook/Chris Duhon
SG: Kevin Martin
SF: Jason Richardson/Hedo Turkoglu/Terrence Jones
PF: Ryan Anderson/Marcus Morris/Glen Davis/Andrew Nicholson
C: Kendrick Perkins
Orlando would have an elite player in Westbrook and a great complementary scorer in Martin. Perkins is solid. They would now have a ton of assets at PF could flip Morris, Jones, Davis, and Nicholson into an upgrade at SF or package with Perkins for an upgrade at center.

Houston:
PG: Goran Dragic
SG: James Harden/Jeremy Lamb/JJ Reddick
SF: Chandler Parsons
PF: Luis Scola/Royce White/Donatas Montiejunas
C: Patrick Patterson/Cole Aldrich/Greg Smith

Houston turns some of their assets into one of the top SG's in the league already in Harden, sill can use Scola or Reddick or some of their young assets like White, Patterson, Aldrich, or Montiejunas to parlay into a better center.
****, how I would love it if huge trades like this actually went down haha

According to several reports, the Nets would receive Johnson in return for four expiring contracts: Anthony Morrow, Jordan Farmar, Johan Petro and Jordan Williams plus a first round pick in 2013

Well, it's supposedly a 3/30 deal since the last year is a team option. I guess that's slightly less ******.

Im very surprised at what people are saying we would be able to get for Gasol. I mean I know the guy is still a valuable player, but myself...as a Laker fan would take less than some of the rumors out there.

Im not complaining, though.
