Scotty, you should know, it's the same reason Yi Jianlian is an All-Star too.... oh wait...
BBD, if Lin makes it, good on him for earning it. Knicks already deserve praise for uncovering him, that's for sure.

Is it the basketball that just brings this out in you, or just because it's the off-season?

The T-Wolves have waived Martell Webster and traded Brad Miller and two 2nd round picks to the Hornets for a conditional 2nd.

except Yi was the worst basketball player who's ever played in the NBA ever and didn't have half of NYC with boners for him. Lin had an incredible stretch, but teams found out he can't defend or go left. Then he got hurt and he will continue to be a mediocre PG in the future.
Uncovering him? the dude had multiple NBA stops and didn't cut it.
And with this, I will stop addressing the trolling of BBD. But there was an Yi reference so I had to make sure everyone knows how bad he is and that I still hold a strong hatred for him in my heart

I prefer this, as it's a 1 year deal. Although I'm still kinda wondering why PJIII wasn't any interest to us. We had a great situation to bring him along slowly and he provides some star potential. We got old, really fast.

Yeah I don't get the Lin hate at all. He's a damn good PG. He just needed a chance.

Basketball. I readily admit I'm a Knicks homer and I don't hide it. I exaggerate it a little bit, but I also feel that the Knicks are criminally underrated on this forum.

That's BS. He can play defense. He's not Steve Nash awful on defense. And everyone made him go left and he still averaged 14 and 7. So the whole Lin can't go left argument is complete BS.
And you know what's the dumbest thing about it? Who says he can't you know, work on going to his left in the offseason and get better at it?
The guy was a rookie basically last year and had an amazing season. Yet for some stupid ass reason, everyone on this forum just assumes he'll never improve.
Ridiculous.
Lin is a baller, and when he's an All Star next year, I'm gonna troll the **** out of this thread.

He very well could be. IF he can keep up his production.
I don't know why everyone keeps saying that he'll only get in because the Asian vote will vote him in. You guys do know his competition is the most popular player in the NBA, right? First off the bench will be Deron. I think Lin can sneak into the third. His competition, though, is Kyrie.
Rondo puts up modest numbers and plays far better than his stats advertise. Wall's team will be terrible. No one else in the East stand a chance. George Hill? Kyle Lowry? Brandon Jennings? Brandon Knight?
Let's be serious here.

I mean, who gives a ****? Lin's a cash cow. Dolan will get his money back in jersey sales. Oh yeah, and the ******* dynasty that's about to start.

DRose, Deron, Rondo, Kyrie/Lin? i can see it but would they have room for 4 PGs on the roster? or does it just depend on who gets votes?

I think Rondo's definitely not a lock. Even though he's arguably the best one.
