Eh, Wade hasn't ever come out of a strong eastern conference either though. The Shaq/Wade Heat steam rolled a crap conference and last year, Miami's toughest opposition got hammered by injuries before the playoffs even rolled around.

The difference is that Wade's won 2 titles, Iverson won 1 game.

I do think it's rather awesome that Allen Iverson had to beat Reggie Miller, Vince Carter and Ray Allen to get to the Championship, where he faced Kobe. The only thing better would have been if he would have faced Tracy McGrady, who had claim to being the best shooting guard that year as well (I don't think he was, but you can make the argument. Let's all just agree not to)

Reggie and Ray fair enough, but Vince Carter is a born loser. It's hard to be impressed with beating a guy who has admitted to mailing in games.

i ******* love how i leave for a few hours and like 3-4 pages of basketball discussion's gone by. This is why this is the best thread.
D-Will is awesome, don't hate on him. I have a good Nets player (and team, oddly) so I will defend him.
MarShon Brooks will be top 5... ok, I can't even do that. Cool Nets, sweet ****** history where I can barely argue anybody being top anything

In 2001, he was an amazing athlete and he kind of cared a little bit.

Pretty sure that DC is is a top 5 fat man and also would win a donut eating contest for sure.
Petrovic is a top 5 tragedy.
Kendall Gill had a top 5 high top fade going but Charlotte probably has a better claim to that.
Kenny Anderson was awesome when healthy.
Being a Nets fan might actually be worse than the Magic... I feel for you man!

I don't know a single bobcat fan and I honestly think they pay people to attend their home games in the regular season.

Top 4 is fine, more or less. Wrong number 5.

Scotty, don't forget the Nets had Jason Kidd and his domestic abused wife. He has an argument as a top five PG.

Kidd was special back in New Jersey. To take that team to back to back finals appearances is somethin else.

i was thinking about him, his son was adorable in the glory days. He's a HOF'er, wonder what jersey he'd go in.
He could be top 5 PG, but more like 7 or so I'd say

He was at his best in New Jersey, but seemed like he spent the most time in PHX if I remember correctly. Who knows.
Edit: I lied. More time in NJ.
