In the West however, every team that's a contender basically has someone that can limit him. Nobody can really limit Dwight/Pau.
And the Lakers have Howard and Gasol to limit them.

Only OKC stands a chance of knocking out the Lakers. I don't see Kobe slowing down Westbrook and Metta isn't slowing down Durant. Though this 220 looking Perkins isn't touching Howard and Ibaka on Gasol? Maybe.

Denver has a much of a chance as Minn does . They don't have a superstar(Iggy isn't a superstar.)

SA? Maybe, but Duncan is just about done

Denver can beat LA with sheer depth and speed/youth. Iggy can shut down Kobe by himself, Lawson can run Nash out of the court, and Faried/McGee can do a decent job on their front court. Not the best, but the backcourt and depth could beat them.

While I dont doubt it if he gets physical because Pau has been pretty damn soft over the years, Ibaka is not a good man defender. He is a very great help defender and that is where he gets a ton of his blocks, but if you get him in the post he isn't ****.

What you say about Ibaka is absolutely true, but Pau is not as soft as you make him out to be.

Denver is a team I worry about, but honestly if you get back on defense and put them in the half court they are ******. Nash being around and not wasting as many possessions as we have in the last couple seasons will help dramatically. Less turnovers=less fastbreaks=less points for the nuggets.

Dude, I still love Pau...when it comes to moves and his ability to score there are still not many 7 footers I would take over him, but he has crumbled when things have gotten tough over the past 2 seasons and everyone has seen it. He is still likely to put up 15/16 and 10 boards but there are some nights where he looks like a rag doll getting thrown around out there.

McGee has a better chance of winning Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader than slowing down Howard

Denver doesn't have a number one scoring option. Is it Galo? Metta can control him. That's what it comes down to.

How about we just wait till the season plays out? :)

totally joking. im excited to how well the ball movement will be having one of the best passers in the league in steve nash and one of the best passing big men in the league in pau gasol. i think pau can still get it done at a high level but his toughness is definitely wavering.

I watched 3 episodes and couldn't get into it. I'll probably try again sometime though.
