wait. now I read this page. good god the lack of basketball knowledge hurts my brain.
and brody, while harden was easily better than D-Will last year, I think that's a 1 time thing. I expect the old D-Will we all know and love to come back this year and run **** with actual NBA players starting with him

How can there be 50 when he's around the 20th highest paid player overall. haha. But that's ok... exaggeration matters!

Deron played his way to getting that contract IMO. He is one of the best PG's in the game. Harden doesnt have the accolades that Deron has and thats not his fault, hes been limited to being a 6th man till now. I feel that hes going to earn the money he's getting but Deron definitely DESERVED the money more so than Harden.

Deron hasn't really been anything special since he left Utah, so you can keep saying how he needs this supporting cast, but let's actually see it. Chris Paul did plenty with just as little as Deron had.

The beginning of the season Arenas was ballin'. ....and I'm still right about him being more useful than Shard. But I was wrong about thinking he would finish out the season that way in Orlando. I should've known the Master of Panic, Stan Van Gundy would have fears about implementing a new player in his system. So Arenas never had a chance. It's no coincidence players never took off under stand until being in his system for years. Players don't do well under him unless they have a full season at least under him. He used the same excuse over and over... whether it was Carter, Bass, Anderson, Arenas, JRich, Davis, Redick...

Haha, blaming SVG for the terribleness of Arenas. He was awful that entire year. A few games don't change that.
Nonetheless, my point is proven.

So I've figured it out, the Blazers only win if I watch. I've gotta make a conscious effort to catch at least half the games. If the season ended today, we'd be in the playoffs and the Lakers would have Shabazz...maybe I'm glad it's not over today.

I'm not gonna compare Deron and harden, I believe they're both deserving of the max. I do'nt know if you can say Deron isn't. His body of work in his NBA career is deserving and one down year doesn't change that. He tried to do literally everything last year. EVERYTHING. He was shooting it all the time to try and keep the team in it. Yes, he played poorly no matter who the cast was, but I'm not sure you can say Deron's not deserving of a max. And yeah, I could even see how Harden would be more deserving than D-Will.
And the whole "no one else to score is why Harden' numbers are inflated early" is still mind boggling and defies every basketball logic there is. I still don't get it. Haters will **** logic and find any way to hate I guess. Fear the Beard mofos <3

Knicks need to go small. I'm telling you.....Amar'e coming back (if he starts) will ruin everything. Melo is so much more useful on both ends as a 4.

if the knicks somehow keep it going til amare comes back, his return will ruin the chemistry of the starting lineup. just like when melo came back from his injury last season. and amare will start if he's healthy enough to because of his contract. things never work out for the knicks.

We need Stat. We need a 2nd reliable scorer on the team. Stat should come off the bench but I know they won't do that.
But for the long term, we need him to provide some scoring when Melo is cold. We can't rely on 1 scorer all season.

Stat should start, just to get him into the game, but he should also be the first sub out unless he's beasting and then come back in to carry the scoring load when Melo rests.
