i think in a year or 2 is when we'll be real contenders. the problem right now is SO LITTLE COHESION. it's dribble around, a pass or 2, stupid jumper or 3 pointer. No drives. Not enough Bropez usage. Stupid things on offense. Series just happened of Watson dribbling around, threw up a 3, stupid shot, miss. Knicks board. Ball upcourt. Drive. Kick to far corner. To top of key. to wing. Drive. Draw the big. Dump to cutter. Easy lay in. Such great movement and cohesion. Nets have none of that and it's frustrating.

Yeah the Nets aren't going anywhere if you think Bropez, Joe Johnson, and an overrated Deron Williams is gonna take you there. This team is destined to be a typical 1 and done team for the next 3 years. Maybe you'll win one playoff series eventually but that's about it.

Also, Gerald Wallace has been our best player by far. I will always stand by that trade.

We'll see. Hopefully D-Will gets it back together because we have a REALLY talented 4 guys with Crash, D-Will, JJ and Bropez. Just no cohesion. At all.

Durant is only shooting better, while getting to the line more often and being better there...piling on to being a much better passer, a better rebounder, a better defender, and on a team with a better record. The only thing Melo beats him in is turnovers, that is it.

I'm going to bed so let me say my piece now:

1. He's a more versatile scorer. He can shoot just as well as Durant, but he also has a deadly post game, something Durant doesn't have. Both are equally clutch so that's a wash.

2. He can play the 4 on both ends bc he's not frail. He's stronger than Durant so can bang in the paint a lot better.

3. He's just as efficient this year. This Melo is a different player. He passes better and he takes smarter shots.

4. Just as good if not better defensively. Bc of his versatility bc of his size and thickness, you can argue that he's a better defender.

1. Durant is much more clutch, but keep ignoring that fact to live in your own little fantasy world

2. He's not all that great at it, and whoopie, so can Zach Randolph.

3. No, it's not even close. Durant is having one of the most efficient seasons (minus the turnovers) in eons. Durant had 41 points on 23 shots on the road against a really tough Atlanta team tonight. Melo had 31 on 23 shots at home against an average Brooklyn team. Just an example.

4. Durant is a better defender against threes, and Melo gets destroyed by any real PF.

Durant in the 4th quarter tonight was in another stratosphere, offensively, defensively, and actually showing fire and cussing out ATL fans.
