I think a lot of people still remember Nate blocking Yao. But blocks often aren't remembered like dunks are and while that Nate block was sweet, Yao had no idea he was actually there.

I think Yao didn't know what going on 89% of the time on the court.
Personally, I forgot the Nate block until just now.

People gave Yao a lot of crap for that block just because of the size difference, it really wasn't all that impressive to be honest. Yao had like a four inch vertical and Nate got lucky since he jumped like a full second before Yao went up for his shot.
Brandon Knight though.. getting your **** packed and your ankles broken in the same season is just embarrassing. Like, go to the d-league embarrassing.

Eh, it was a mild sprain so i wouldn't be too worried about it. And it's a shoulder. Be glad his ankles and knees are intact.
I get that. It's just a pattern that's got me paranoid. He missed essentially his entire frosh year at Duke, he missed nearly 40% of his rookie year and he broke three bones in three months this season in addition to a couple other injuries also. There's some reason to be concerned imo although Byron Scott said he isn't worried. Whatevs

God damnit i love Kobe so much. As hated and as much of a dick as the guy is, the combination of greatness with will to win come around rarely.
I find it funny that KD is looked at as one of the nicest guys in the league but i think he has the drive in him to turn into a psycho like Kobe/Jordan are(were). Especially since he has to keep getting better to better Lebron. He needs that fire in him.

Your observation holds as much value as mine does. Watching him play since he was 18, he's an ultra competitor who refuses to be bested by anyone. I still think he has another few levels of improvement he will reach.

He works out with LeBron every offseason and his teammates seem to genuinely like him, so there's that. There is a difference between being a fierce competitor and person with mental issues.
