Gallo's skillset is different from Chandler, but Chandler can be equally productive. Gallo stretches the floor better but Chandler is better at attacking the hoop, so you gain some you lose some.

No he's not. Chandler is better at finishing strong when the lane's open, but gallo is better at drawing a foul when there's someone in front of him, or dishing it off to the open man. Chandler's game has always been from the midrange despite the size and strength, he's just never gotten to play that role because he hasn't made his shot automatic enough yet.

Right. So Chandler is betting at attacking the basket....

He's not much stronger than gallo, certainly not enough to make up for Gallo's ability to draw fouls, dish and actually dribble past somebody. So no he's not better at attacking the basket.

In addition to what German is saying, Gallo is a better passer and opens things up more on offense. Plus, he's an underrated defender.

Let's not talk about Gallo anymore please. You all know how I feel about Gallo...

Great #3 option on a team, but that's his ceiling. And will be overpaid his whole career bc someone is always gonna think he can be a #2 option when he's not ever gonna be that guy.

On Denver all he needs to be is a 2b, which he's fully capable of.

Their whole team is a bunch of 2Bs.

It's actually a brilliant strategy that more middle market teams should emulate. Unless those teams are in a position to draft a stud, they're never going to draw a top tier FA bc free agents just don't go to those markets.

So instead of saving all your cap money and swinging and missing on the big guys, go and acquire a bunch of 2s, get some killer depth, and play some team ball that make's snowflake's dick hard with all that passing.

It's effective. It will never win you a championship, but it's effective.

That's not surprising. You tend to favor inferior players to superior ones.

What did Melo do to you?

I'm completely convinced that Melo must have dissed you at an autograph session or something for you to be this ridiculous.

They run a fast break system which they obliterate teams with because they force turnovers and need passing to make it work. What is Melo not good at?!

I don't like one dimensional volume scorers, I keep repeating that. He's been better lately, but for most of his career/this season, that has been his role.

Fast break offenses don't work in the playoffs.

The Knicks are better than the Nuggets, and we stole Melo for 2 cents on the dollar. You'll never admit that, but watch how this plays out and then get back to me.

The Knicks haven't won in the playoffs in over a decade, so let's see you prove that first. And the Nugs had a better record in a tougher conference.

Melo has carried the Knicks this season. The 2 seasons before, yeah he had his warts. He didn't fit Mike D's offense, and Mike D is a turd anyway so it was a waste of 2 years bc of him.

In Denver, he had his warts, I won't deny them.

But this year, this Melo...you can't knock Melo this year. He found his home at the 4, they built a team around his skillset, Woodson knows how to use him, and he's been a complete stud.

You just can't knock Melo this year. It's pure blind hatred. There's no justification for it other than disliking the guy.

The past means nothing. The Celtics looked like the worst team in the league, then got KG and Allen and won the championship the next year.

Look at the current team. It's a damn good team. Will it last? No. It's too old.

But for this year, right here right now, this Knick team is very good. And they're going to do damage in the playoffs.

But why is it better than Denver? They haven't proven to be better than Denver at all, so I want to know why. They might make it further, but that's only because of injuries and the fact that the East ******* sucks outside of Miami.

I don't know who I want the Heat to face more, Celtics or Knicks.

I'm still leaning towards wanting to pound the Celtics and their whole "Oh if we had Bradley last year, we would have had them" attitude. On the other hand, I always love playing the Knicks in the playoffs and crushing Melo's dreams.

I just don't know...I just don't know...

I don't really believe in what if situations, because they simply didn't happen, but you better believe having a healthy Bradley and Jeff Green would have made a difference. Would the series have gone differently? Who knows. But I'm confident that adding Bradley and Green to that team makes them better. The Celtics very nearly won that series in 5.
