Where am I off?
I changed that Spurs projection (forgot what it was).

Rockets is right where I thought it would be.

I guess my Thunder projection was a little rich. The Grizzlies are tough, experienced, and healthy and peaking at the right time. That being only 350 is interesting. Might be a long series.

Clips, Pacers, Bulls I was right on.

Heat only -600 is interesting. I expect that to go up. The Bobcats do have a dominant big man though... Imagine...

I'm surprised by the Nets/Raps line. Closer than I thought it would be. Homecourt matters.

No, he will defenitly get 2nd and maybe a few 1st place votes. But this award is strictly which rookie had the best stats, not FG/FT% so MCW it's the Winner hear.

MCW: 17.3 PPG, 6.3 APG, 5.3 RPG, 2.0 SPG, 0.6 BPG
Oladipo 13.8 PPG, 4.4 RPG, 4.1 APG, 1.6 SPG, 0.5 BPG
Trey Burke: 12.7 PPG, 5.6 APG, 3.1 RPG, 0.6 SPG, 0.1 BPG

Mason Plumlee: 7.4 PPG, 4.4 RPG, 0.9 APG, 0.7 SPG, 0.8 BPG

I'm pretty sure percentages are stats. I'm also pretty sure that is not how the award works....defense, for instance, counts. I hope you are kidding.

I mean do you really think MCW is not going to win ROY? would you be willing to bet against him?

Plumlee was far better on the court than MCW, and he was huge in helping the Nets turn around.

It should be Oladipo or Plumlee. Unfortunately it will be MCW.

Going forward, I'd rather have Oladipo, Burke, Giannis, Dieng, Plumlee, Hardaway Jr, and Noel over MCW.

I don't think I've ever seen a rookie more overrated than MCW. Didn't like his game at 'Cuse, and still don't like it. He'll win ROY though.

MCW all day... he was thrust into a leading role. Nobody expected him to become even as good as he was as a rookie. His absolutely wretched supporting cast (even before the trades) has to be considered.

I think everyone should know Giannis is going to probably end up the best of this draft class. But I dont understand how anyone can say MCW isn't going to win it. But then again, like I pointed out after 30 games in, everyone on here hated him to begin with.

Plumlee played 1200 minutes this year. MCW and Oladipo both played over 2400. Sorry, but no matter how much he gelled and did all the scrappy stuff for the Nets, he played half the minutes the other two top contenders did. MCW didn't put up good shooting splits but I wouldn't be mad at all if he won. He put some decent stats as a rookie on a historically bad team. Same for Oladipo. No one else should really be considered for the award. It isn't about who is gonna be a better pro.

And Tim Hardaway Jr averaged 1 rebound a game and .8 assists per game. That's pretty pathetic when you're playing 23mpg.

I fully expect MCW to win ROY but I wouldn't personally vote for him, he'd get my 2nd vote but his team was awful, his shooting was historically bad, his defense was pretty damn horrible. He is basically a poor mans Ricky Davis playing PG, he put up stats but did nothing to help the team win or make the team better.

My votes...

MVP - Durant over LeBron. Just but Durant has just been awesome and the better player this year, imo. Feels a bit like Robinson over Hakeem though where I feel Durant deserves the award, was better and all that but LeBron is still the better player and I'm picking him in the Finals if it goes that way.

MIP - Dragic would have my vote. Noah, Lowry and half the Suns roster in an honourable group that didn't quite get it. Dragic was awesome this year and very deserving.

6th Man - Manu. Bunch of other guys that deserve mentions but think Manu was as good as ever this year, great bounce back from his playoffs last year. Should be a very tight award though.

DPOY - Noah just over Hibberd. Personally this is a two horse race for me.

COTY - Jeff Hornacek. Pop has been awesome as ever for 2nd but I agreed with the preseason rating of the Suns and they are about 30 games ahead of where I had them pegged. Spurs are only 5-10 games above, if that.

Worst Trade of the Year - Indiana Pacers - Luis Scola trade. Just horrible in hindsight.

Best Trade - Tie between Suns side of Scola trade and Toronto's Gay dump.

Worst Non-Trade - Knicks for Lowry.

Looking forward to the playoffs, should be great, especially the west. Will be very interesting to see if Miami and Indiana can flip the switch or not, they've both been very ordinary to close out the season.

Hibbert cannot even be in the conversation for how brutal his rebounding was at his size, and the fact that his team is filled with incredible defenders around him (West, George and Stephenson are all really good defenders). I still think Butler was more important to the Bulls defense than Noah, but that's fine.

I'll take great production in 1200 minutes over ****** production in 2400 minutes. It's a fallacy to take a rookie based on minutes played. MCW was absolutely brutal on defense this year in addition to historically awful shooting and turnover issues. Oladipo was okay at times, but he had serious adjustments to make to get to the point of being okay. I think he'll be the best rookie in due time, but Plumlee was the best player as a rookie this season. Lack of minutes or not, he contributed the most to his team.

Hardaway has zero skills other than shooting, that's not really a surprise.

Brody, I love Plums, but I'm surprised you love him so much because literally all he does is dunk and rebound.

He doesn't take stupid shots and he's a great rebounder, that's a good big to me. Plus he became a better passer as the season went on and got better and better.
