Maybe Al Thornton and Al Horford, they kind of compare to Brand.

I think the farther Sheed gets from the 3 Point line, the higher his accuracy gets.. He can't hit anything when he's close to the 3 Point line, it's been getting ridiculous actually

Averages per 48 minutes is the absolute worst stat in basketball. But TJ has been playing sick

You can't compare 48 min stats; it's per game stats not what if stats

ugh... two gamse now... the Bulls and Pistons... we were the better team and we lose to lucky plays by the other team. It's just ********. I can take one.. but two? Damn... we're unlucky. By the way... how Camby was not "Fouled" by McDyss with 1.5 seconds left in regulation is beyond me. Games like these are hard to get over, and the refs were ****** as usual to the Nuggets... and how Billups got to the FT line over nothing was just stupid. Okay, I'll stop my ranting now.

Ouch, terrible way to lose a game for Denver. Sorry Namy.

In other news, Chicago beat a depleted Portland team tonight by double digits. Luol Deng was insane. 36 points and missed about 7 shots. This all with going to the free throw line for only 2 attempts. Dude's a stud.

Also, I hate the playoff seeding. Ugh. I know the division leaders get an edge but it should be based on best record. And that'd put us as the #3 seed.

seriously...so instead of being the 2 or 3 seed and getting new jersey, orlando, or whoever ends up barely squeaking in...we get the 5 seed and get stuck possibly playing Miami again first round while toronto gets an easier opponent cuz they won a crappy division

on another note...

just out of curiosity, how is duncan a leader? What does he do that's so leader like?

He led his team to a pair of championships. He doesn't get in troulbe off the court, and he's never a distraction.

if you meant a role-model sure i'll agree with you. But I wouldn't necessarily call him a leader. Leaders are vocal, they congratulate their teammates when they make a nice shot or pass, they yell at them when they do something stupid, they teach and try to get their teammates involved. Duncan is the face of the Spurs but i wouldn't call him any more of a leader than kobe. (btw i know the lakers aren't nearly as good as the spurs but kobe does all of these things)

You aren't the only one you are everyone, I hate it Oden gets the dumb treatment LeBron got in that they crown them king and greater than the greats before they even do anything. The media trys to make us think Oden is the best big man to ever play and most people eat it up. Ron Lewis makes a 3 pointer and the announcers say it's because the defense is so worried about Oden and his threat allowed Lewis to make it even when Oden is being single covered and Lewis hits a contested shot, but they trick people into believing that it's Oden's "Prescience". He is a nice prospect no doubt but to compare him to David Robinson or Hakeem is wrong in so many ways.

Oden will never come close to being one of the best all time; he'll be better than average and an All-Star but I don't know if he's Hall of Fame material

Do I need to keep going or should I just stop now? Also, he made the all defensive team 8 times. Kobe has 3 all defensive team awards.

Kobe is a great player, but he's not better than MJ. The stats say he's not, the championships say he's not, the MVP's say he's not, and if you watch them play in their primes, MJ was just simply amazing. Kobe lacks the ability to know how and when to get his teammates involved. He knows how to pass, he's very creative, and he's unselfish, but he lacks the ability to know when to score, and when to pass the ball. Something that Michael knew how to do. And then I go back to the Phoenix Suns series last year where in Game 7, he simple did not show up for his team.

Michael brought it every night, every single play of every game he's balls to the wall. And MJ would never let his team down like that in a game of that magnitude. And this is not me being a homer. Michael was and still is the greatest player who ever lived. Maybe not the most dominant, but the best in my eyes.
