That would be a good team but i would make Marion a SF because he would rather be. Then I would make my starting SG Arenas if he would even wanna play for USA anymore and my starting PG, Paul though i really like Williams.
Damn...I just realized I'm not even American.

America should put together the best team they can. That will likely be made up of all NBA players. I'm just saying that a lot of players won't want to play because it puts a lot of wear and tear on their bodies and reduces their recovery time.

Heartbreaking loss for Orlando. The Raps seem so untouchable right now, who thinks they can make the Eastern Finals?

That without Big Ben, Noce, and Griffin. Also Ben Gordon and Tyrus Thomas weren't feeling well either.
TT and Rip got thrown out. Got a little phsycial on the court between the two so Crawford just tossed both of them.
Hinrich was on fiya (in SVP's voice) tonight. 29 points and 8 dimes. Deng was also a beast with 22. If we can land some kind of big man with the core of guys we have this offseason, I think I'll wet myself. (dreaming of Pau Gasol):D
Our problem is putting 4 consistent quarters together in games. If we can somehow avoid those long droughts where we struggle from the field, I like our chances in the East. Although that's a big "if."

The absolute only way that happens is if they get the three seed, Chicago gets the two seed (no offense Chicago but I think they are an easier matchup than the Cavs), and the winning of the 1-4 matchup is so beat up that they can't compete.
The Raptors are, at best, the 4th best team in the East, and I'd say it's a distance 4th. Winning a playoff series and being competitive in the next would be a great first step, much like the Cavs last year.

I think you're getting ahead of yourself there. Orlando is not very good, D-Unit will even admit that.
If you face Detroit, Cleveland, Miami, or Chicago in a 7 game series, the smart money is that you'd be going home early. The Raps are a good team, but they still aren't in the league of the Central's best, and I think Miami is better than them as well with Wade healthy.

What he said...^^
And no offense taken 51. The standings don't lie.

Well it's not so much the standings, but the Raptors game comes primarily from the interior, which is where the Bulls are weakest, so I could envision the Raptors winning a best of seven, particularly if the Bulls aren't hitting threes.

You don't want the playoffs? And basically the teams in places 7-13 stay in those spots.

Too bad the Raptors lost Jorge Barbosa for the season. He would have really come in handy in the playoffs. Bargnani is going to have to stepup bigtime if the Raptors want to make any noise in the playoffs.

Nothing compared to losing Caron Butler and now possibly Gilbert Arenas, rehab is gonna take atleast 2 weeks for Gil, we might lose the rest of our games and end up with a 7 or 8 seed and be out of the playoffs quick, this is why we must trade Jamison I mean the big 2 go down and you and your 15 mil a year can't lead the team, I mean it was Deshawn and AD leading the team.

No way in hell the Raps beat the Bulls in a playoff series. Mark it down. Raps are too young, too inexperienced and still in need of someone to make the outside shot in crunch time.

Without a doubt!!! The Raptors are better but they don't have the pieces to win a playoff series against a team as good as Chicago

The Bulls are also very young. The Raptors at least have a player in Bosh who is a solidified star in the league who can take the Raptors on his back.

Durant and Oden to groom for future international play but won't get much playing time, Durant more likely to get time if they need an extra shooter but with Redd, Lewis, and Johnson they are good.

Curious, what pushes Deron over Paul?

Better at running a team and distributing the ball, Paul no doubt is more exciting and explosive, and Deron is the most underrated player in the NBA, should have been an All-star no doubt, Paul gets the hype but IMO Deron is the 2nd best PG in the NBA, if you just watch them Paul looks more exciting and flashy but Deron gets the job done and makes his team better.

I completely agree Serm, I love Deron. I'd give you rep but I'm out. :(

Deron is the 2nd best PG in the league? That's news to me. I'd take Paul over him any day of the week.

As would every other single poster on the site, but if I wanted a team to win and a general to run my team no doubt behind Steve Nash and a healthy Kidd it would be Deron not Paul.
