LeBron's 52 are the most points to go with a triple double since the 1976-1977 season.

Kobe didn't have a single rebound or assist against us, so while both dominated the ball a lot, kobe jacked up a lot more shots while LeBron was just beasting.

Well Kobe did have 3 assists. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/player...e?playerId=110
But you are right in saying that Lebron's performance was clearly more impressive.

Another nice win for the Mavs tonight against the Blazers. They have won 5 of there last 6, the one lost being on the road against Boston, since that debacle in Milwaukee. Hopefully they've gotten it together and keep it up into the All-Star break.

You trade Green or bring him off the bench. Blake Griffin looks like he could be a 20/10 guy, Green doesn't.

Bulls have gone 4-2 on this road trip with dallas left on Saturday. It would be pretty good news if they can beat the Mavs and go 5-2 on this little trip. Derrick Rose is excellence.

Green is already a 17/7 guy. At small forward. Thunder have NO bench at the moment, if they get rid of Green and take Griffin, next year they are a slightly improved team. I think it's a bad idea, very bad. They would be better off taking lesser value at SG or center, because they don't really have anything there right now. An 11-38 team can't afford to draft someone in the same position as their second best (probably 3rd best next year) player.
Without Green, next year they would be:
1 - Westy
2 - empty space
3 - Durant
4 - Griffin
5 - Nenad
I think they would be better off taking Harden or Teague, in that scenario, going with Westy, Harden, Green, Durant, Nenad. Or even Thabeet.

Yeah it finally hit me that I'm older than quite a few NBA players now. That made me pretty sad. The fact that kids born in 1990 are about to be in the league, just brings me down a notch. :(

ha, he was looking good.
I liked how they were using Hedo/Lee as well. Lee can move the ball a bit but, he is def. out of position. He may have just come off his best game ever but, as a PG. yeek. He picks up his dribble constantly and will pass the ball to someone like Battie or Gortat and he'll start hanging out in the post. Then Battie or Gortat or whoever are stuck handling the ball and struggling to find someone to pass to. Yeah, that wasnt working all too well. I loved that Lee was more aggressive with the ball in his hands but, he needs to stop, stopping his dribble so much. He is certainly a SG with above average passing ability and good vision but, a PG he is not. He should get better with time, though and he'll have plenty of that.
As for his defense this game on Baron and Gordon. Superb as usual.

I was looking at the recruiting commits for today, and suddenly I realized I was older than those commits.
So whack.

LOL, it does suck eh. I'm 1990, and this year I was looking at recruits for football and I looked up Bryce Brown and it was.... this guy is so good.. and younger than I am. My dreams of being a late bloomer and sports superstar are officially over :(

You don't have to, but your options are trade him for a SG or bring him off the bench.

Well the Magic just traded Keith Bogans for Tyronn Lue...
Definitely can't say I'm impressed with Otis... Seriously, Tyronn Lue?
Why not look at a team like Portland who has 3 capable PG's and throw them Hedo and AJ for Rodriguez or Blake and Frye?
you know, something creative? Something that actually helps.
Lue is a chump.

It's actually a fairly good deal in my book. Lue fits well...shoots at a high percentage from every where on the court, still plays pretty good defense, and can find the open man. I've always liked Lue. Like a Nelson, he can score in bunches at times. He's no all-star but, he is a good pick up.
You guys were kidding yourselves if you really thought we'd be trading Hedo.

Agree 100%. I don't know why Otis makes such a big deal about familiarity. Lue is a chump. I was pissed when we signed him in the first place, happy when he left... have been happy with him gone and now he's back??? WTF? Same thing happened with his hiring of Brian Hill. He brings back these dead beat guys who we already know failed the first time around... gee ma nees! Wassup wit dat Otis?
That's the best you could do? Otis, you settle too much!
That said Lue is more useful to us than Bogans...
but dayum... what a BLAH trade. How about just bringing up a guy from the D-League? THAT'S WHAT IT'S FOR!!! Developing depth!!! F'n use it right!
