Daunte Hurt
This is terrible. It looks like McCown will start even though he broke his pinky. Broncos at home and there will be a lot of boos.

What about JaMarcus? Why wouldn't he start in a situation like that? I kind of want to see him next week in Green Bay.

I think JaMarcus will play a few snaps this weekend. Every week it seems like he could play but they end up putting him at 3rd string.

I think the Raiders don't want to bring in Jamarcus unless they are going to hand over the reigns to him full time. I would not be surprised to see him sit out the whole first year, ala Carson Palmer, and than be the starter from Day 1 of training camp next year.
I think Daunte has performed well enough to garner some interest from teams, McCown on the other hand...no mas.

everything I've read it says Daunte is just taking it easy in practice and that Lane and Daunte both expect him to be the starter come Sunday. The question is JR going to be the #2 or not....

i might note kiffin did rule out the chance of russell starting but its more than likely he will make his debut this week as a reserve as he would prefer to use him this way at first to control the situations he faces during the game

Ugh, dislocated pinky? On a guy who can't throw the ball well anyway? The Raiders would be better off starting Walter than this clown. Of course I want to see the rook, but who knows what's going on with that.

I didn't know Walter was still on the team. You guys have 4 QBs, isn't that a little excessive?

for most of the season it was really like having only 3 QBs as there was no way russell was going to get in there and we've constantly had injuries at that position so its proved to be worth holding onto a fourth QB.
