Hardest Sport...
SWIMMING IS CODE FOR WRESTLING
I was just thinking what is the hardest sport, Physically, Mentally, and everything-ly...
I say hockey... the physical aspect is impossible to deny, and the strategy is simplistic but still...

I'm voting Soccer.
I once read that in an average 90 minute game, David Beckham runs about 8 miles. In one game. 8 miles. That and it's extremely difficult to score, which is why play by play guys go bananas when someone finally does score.

Where's the love for wrestling? The sport is extremely physically draining. Train in the wrestling room harder than any football or hockey team with the heater on to 102 for 3 hours daily, on top of that you are many times wearing sweats doing this. You actually have to lose weight so many times you eat very little as opposed to other sports where you are able to eat as much as you want. Also take into account that the season starts at Halloween and ends after Valentine's Day and you miss out on a lot of big eating holidays with Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, the Super Bowl and Valentine's Day--that makes it very mentally draining. Then, right before a wrestling tournament or dual meet, you end up eating absolutely nothing in order to make weight and yet you have to wrestle this other guy who is very often stronger, quicker and smarter than you. At the tournaments you often have 4 or 5 matches split up by an hour and these matches are extremely physically draining, and as you go later into the tournament, the competition gets stronger and tougher making each one more physically draining. Wrestling is definitely the hardest sport.

Baseball is nothing compared to many of the other sports. It's hard to excel in, but it is not as hard physically.

I have to agree with the others that wresling (or swimming, whatever) is the hardest. All sports are hard in their own individual way, but wrestling is just brutal because of how much you have to watch your weight. There were times in high school I would have to lose 10 pounds in a couple days so I couldn't eat anything but salads and water, while spitting in a cup nonstop.
