Both Todd Gurley and Jalen Ramsey should go off cause I'm playing Tackle this week.

Pretty fun slate of Thursday games. Saturday is a bit lackluster.

Normally I prefer noon games for UM since the early games suck and the late games are good, but I'm pretty ok with it since all the games suck. Gonna get the same slot @GT next week too.

Arky/TAMU and FSU/NC State should be entertaining enough for the afternoon games.

One thing I just noticed is that UCF is on their second of three byes this weekend. Is that really necessary?

I mean, not that the matchup is that good, but there really isn't a whole lot better. Stanford-Washington won't be bad, and Missouri-USCe could be but Missouri lost to Indiana so they are disqualified.

Everything else is really meh, so might as well get a primetime ND game out of the way when there's nothing else to challenge for viewers.

ESPN/ABC doesn't have much to choose from.

Not a good slate of games at all.

The Duke/Miami game could be the best one of the night actually. The Notre Dame-Syracuse game should be over by halftime. If Miami was 4-0 I wonder if that game would have gotten the nod.

Don't be surprised if this is the starting OL for FSU vs. NC State

LT - Bobby Hart
LG - Josue Matias
C - Cam Erving
RG - Tre Jackson
RT - Chad Mavety (highly rated Juco)

O-line was putrid last week. Almost a good thing for the noles that winston wasn't out there for that beating.

Multiple sacks were on Maguire more than the OL and came on plays Winston would have adjusted to (Maguire had nowhere near the freedom Winston does to audible). One play he dropped well past the pocket off a play action fake, another he held the ball way to long.

Bryan Stork is missed much more than I thought he would be.

Hearing rumors a neutral site-ish game is in the works for Florida State and Ole Miss to start 2015.

Saw that was coming from an FSU message board, don't know how legit it is but that would be pretty cool.

That will force 4 or 5 new starters on the OL to grow up real fast for FSU with the DL you'll have next year. As it stands FSU is scheduled to kickoff the season with Texas State and is contracted for 4 OOC games. That said if Texas State will move to 11/21 then the FCS game can be dropped to make it work. For some reason is stuck in my head that the Texas State game has a ridiculous buyout.

Why would the top 5 draft pick lock move from the most important O-line position to center?

Same situation for us. Our OL looked awful against Boise and Vandy, I don't know who plans on declaring for you guys but if our OL doesn't improve dramatically between now and next season then it could get ugly. We have Bama in two weeks, I think most of our fans will get a wake up call to how bad our OL really is during that game. Outside of Laremy Tunsil, our line has to be one of the worst in the conference. Edwards and Goldman would probably kill Bo Wallace.

The goal is to have the 5 best OL out there and there isn't a big drop to Bobby Hart at LT and Chad Mavety at RT versus the drop off from Barron at Center.

Bryan Stork is missed much more than I thought he would be.
Erving got beat like a drum multiple times by Beasley. Not that Beasley is a scrub, but Erving was on roller skates most of the night.

Also obviously I know little about the players and FSU's staff is vastly more qualified than any of us, but you rarely see a tackle move to C, especially in the middle of a season and especially when it's an AA LT. It's usually a guard that slides over, which on top of it being Erving, makes the move that much more curious if it happens.

Erving has a freakish ability to bend, Trickett has praised this in a few articles. He can probably do this better than Jackson, Matias, or Kareem Are. The other whispering is that Chad Mavety is too good to keep if the field. Erving is also actually the backup Center who has taken a lot of reps there. Erving is perhaps the smartest of linemen and reportedly has the best grasp of making adjustments at the line, which is best done from center.

Beasley burned him bad for 1 sack, but the second was on Maguire taking way to deep of a drop off play action. But Erving was winning his fair share of battles too. From an NFL perspective, he could help himself a lot by playing multiple positions.
